I stumbled across this great regex (Regular Expression) tester and debugger utility. It's a web app that let's you write, test and debug your regex.

It supports multiple languages and can generate the corresponding code for you. It shows the list of matches and gives you help to identify which part of your regex does what.

A great tool that should be part in every developers toolbox.
