OP is definitely right, there still is a huge gap in the discussions of queer history, and thank you for recommending us!

This isn’t perfect, and many of these only have one article, but here is our list of countries we have written about. We are hoping to one day have at least one article for every country in the world but as @every-book-has-a-secret there is a lot of work still to do.

How did I not realize thorin and Bilbo were in love until now???? I just watched the hobbit again and like they so clearly care about each other in a much deeper way then just friendship. I mean Bilbo couldn’t even find words for what thorin was to him??? They paralleled Tauriel being with/grieving Kilis death with Bilbo being with/grieving Thorins??? Like 100% Bilbo would of stayed in Erebor had thorin not died. Also thorins fucking love eyes the whole series? NOT TO MENTION LITERALLY ALL OF THE DRAGON SICKNESS STUFF like this dudes going crazy with the greedy need to claim and horde treasure but gives Bilbo a VERY IMPORTANT AND VALUABLE PEICE OF DWARFISH ARMOR (like I don’t think everyone understands just how expensive and rare mithril is, it’s almost none existent by that time but it’s insanely strong material and it’s beautiful so it’s basically priceless, Gandalf says to Frodo in LOTR that it’s ‘worth more than the Shire itself and and everything in it’ though he never told Bilbo for some reason hmmmmm) like he wouldn’t give One Cent to the humans or elves or his kin but Here Bilbo I trust you implicitly despite the fact that I’ve only known you like 7 months and you’re literally OUR BURGLAR.
