Am I the only one NOT interested in Saeran?
This is purely because I take games too seriously and try to apply them in real-life situations because I'm dumb, but Saeran is so toxic and unstable it hurts. It is a turn-off. "Ray", in V's route really sheds a light on how he would be romantically, and it's horrifying. He's controlling, manipulative, and has zero interest in what I/MC wants if he doesn't agree with it. And this is coming from a person who's #1 husband is Jumin Han.
Is it his fault? No. His parents were fucked up, he was abandoned by the only person he trusted, and then he became part of a brainwashing cult that drugs him daily. Don't get me wrong - I want him to find happiness and have a Good End. But after being in a toxic relationship myself, I don't support people who want to stay with harmful people thinking they can "fix" them. Be their friend. Be their shoulder to cry on. But do NOT base your entire life around this person. Otherwise you will both drown.
I am only speaking from experience. Obviously everyone in the RFA is messed up in some way, but there is a limit. And I know it's just a game. But I like to get lost in my games and imagine how'd they'd be irl, and while most of them are unrealistic Saeran's is the most toxic to me.
I haven't finished the game yet and I'm sure there's character development. And obviously there's nothing wrong with the people who do like him. But speaking of this realistically, if you JUST met a guy (or girl) irl and he/she acts like Ray, fucking RUN. That shit isn't smooth or romantic. He is NOT husband material (as he is now). He needs therapy, not a girlfriend.
(again, I take games too seriously so fuck my opinion for the most part.)
