We are Pones Inc. -- a group of multi-disciplinary artists living and working in Cincinnati. Pones provides artistic opportunities for community growth by creating engaging new ways for audiences to experience dance. Currently, we are working on a brand new collaborative piece called ConverseNation, a live, multimedia experience that explores issues, situations, and stories of both wealth and poverty in our hometown. We shared our work with colleagues from around the world at the CrisisArts Festival in Arezzo, Italy this August and now we are preparing to perform for our families, friends, and community here at home. With this blog, we're hoping to capture our process of developing this piece -- who we talk to, what we learn, what we feel, and how we've changed.
