Meet Rowan Boone and Almon Calhoun. A gay western romance project book I've been working on off and on for the past year. After battling severe depression and anxiety, I finally got some motivation to get back to their story.

Arthur is wondering how hard he'd have to hit Cooper in the face to knock him down a peg.
And Cooper is just about to call Arthur "Goldie Locks" yet again.
Headcanon: After a couple weeks of being called 'Ghoul' by Arthur, Cooper began to investigate what would make Arthur tick. Cooper noticed calling Arthur pet names and exaggerations of his features tended to get a reaction. This led to a long slew of name calling until Cooper settled on Goldie Locks being an appropriate name that also pissed his partner off.
So... I think I made a RDR2/FalloutTVSeries crossover Au? But instead of Lucy looking for her father, it's Arthur looking for the gang, and well, Cooper's still looking for his family, but with a twist?
I don't know if anyone will be interested in this, but Imma share it anyway, because I can.
Cooper Howard is an actor at a up and coming playhouse in California and is a damn good actor at that. The only problem is it's the late 1800's, and he is married to Barb and they have a child, Janey. There are several high brass figures in the public that don't approve of Cooper's choice of wife, and the fact he had a child with her just amped up the bitterness. Because this playhouse was doing so well, Cooper's home life was a bad hit to it's reputation.
So there was conspiring amongst these figureheads to get rid of the issue all together. One day, Cooper came home from a rehearsal of a new script, and the house was ransacked and empty. Barb and Janey were no where to be seen. He reported the disappearance to the law, but they were no help. That night after fruitless searching, Cooper returned home, knowing exactly who had done this but being powerless to do anything about it. He falls into a fitful sleep only to be awoken by flames engulfing his house.
He survived the fire, but only barely. His skin is marred by severe burns, and he is always in some semblance of pain. While recovering from his burns, he vowed to track down his missing family, even if he had to crawl back form the depths of Hell to do that.
Fast forward to the year 1893...
Arthur Morgan is separated from the gang after a heist gone wrong. In the chaos of flight, Arthur ends up on the Arizona/Utah territory line and the gang no where to be seen. Desperate and annoyed, Arthur heads to the closed settlement from what his outdated map reads. Some backwater town called Filly.
His first stop was the saloon once arriving, where he throws back a flight of shots and stumbles to the poker table. He doesn't pay much mind to the other players, wallowing in his own misery. But the more he kept losing to the bastard with his hat pulled down over his face, the more he started to pay attention. Things heat between Arthur and the other man, until he lifts his hat to reveal his scorched face.
Arthur could care less about his deformities (albeit he did stare for a long moment), he was getting low on cash cause the fucker kept winning! Accusations fly, and guns get drawn. It's a tense moment before Arthur's cards are shown to have won that hand.
With Arthur's temper sated, the two continued to play, even starting to chat (by chat I mean bicker because they are both just two tired angry old men). But the truth comes out, they are both heading the same way in search of people close to them. Arthur and, who he deems 'the Ghoul' since he looks like one and won't give him his name, form an uneasy partnership.
That's kind of all I got, at the moment, but I am working on a piece of them in a standoff over poker ๐. So who knows maybe more to come? Perhaps?

After literal months of art block and being busy, I accomplished 1 (one) art piece. ๐ฅน Messed around with some colored pencils and whatnot, but I'm just happy that it turned out decent. Hopefully, more art is on the way? ๐ค
Ya see I haven't ever done an "official" commission, but I would be willing to do one depending on the subject and my ability to do it.
I'm good at drawing some things, but women are a struggle that I'm trying to conquer. And while I just got a drawing tablet, I dunno how to use it yet. So the commission would be traditional art until I get a handle on digital art.
