Are you aware?
As an 18-year old woman who is part of a larger community, am I aware of what is happening around me? Am I knowledgeable enough for the actions that I make and how it affects our environment?
I chose this video for the reason that all of us, human, are using plastics. In buying goods in the market, for wastes disposal and others. No day ever passed that we don’t use plastics. But, there are improper acts made by us after using these wastes. Other people just throw it anywhere which really affect our environment, especially the creatures and fishes in the bodies of water. In the video, it was mentioned that if we continue our act of improper disposal of plastics, especially throwing them onto the bodies of water, there is a big possibility that plastic wastes will be more than the fish and sea creatures.
Another reason why I chose this video is because it is really informative. There are information that were mentioned that will surely help the viewers to acquire more knowledge regarding the issues about plastics. The video, as well as Kuya Kim from Matanglawin, give advice on how we should deal with plastics. That instead of throwing it to the bodies of water, why not saved it and participate in the “Collect Kilo, Kita”. We can also make alternatives through the use of plastic but of course, it needs to use machines for the production.
Aside from those reasons, I chose this video because for me it is reliable and I trust this program. I don’t want my viewers to get confused and doubt this post. I want to ensure that with this platform, I can help and share my insights to other people.
