My name is Poppy Foster. I'm 11. I like to play pretend and dress up and watch movies. My favorite is Snow White. I live with two very nice men and other very nice girls in this big, neat house. Wanna play?

Piotr: How does your character perceive strangers? - What is your character’s kryptonite? - When was the last time your character lied? Why?

How does your character perceive strangers?

It really depends on appearances honestly, but generally he avoids them if possible. If one strikes up a conversation with him, he’ll initially be polite, but curt in his answers. He’s quite honestly more likely to be open with women though, although he’s not aware of it. It just kind of happens. 

What is your character’s kryptonite?

Like, emotionally, probably kids, especially ones who remind him of his sister.

When was the last time your character lied? Why?

Not to get fake deep here, but it was probably when someone asked him how he was doing, just because even if it’s a bad day, he doesn’t want to open a discussion about his feelings.

Courtney: How does the character prepare in the morning? - Do they cook, eat out or get take-away/delivered food more? - When your character thinks of her childhood kitchen, what smell does she associate with it? Sauerkraut? Oatmeal cookies? Paint? Why is that smell so resonant for her?

How does the character prepare in the morning?

She wakes up around 6 or 7 usually and curls her hair, puts makeup on, picks out an outfit, etc. Sometimes she’ll wake up earlier, due to a bad nightmare (they can get really vivid for her) and plays some game on her phone or looks at social media until the sun comes up. She also frequently gets headaches in the morning, so she usually keeps some over the counter pain killer near her bed. 

Do they cook, eat out or get take-away/delivered food more?

She tries to cook more than she eats out, but she’s not great at it. Piotr cooks plenty enough and there’s usually some leftovers in the fridge for whenever he’s not home. 

When your character thinks of her childhood kitchen, what smell does she associate with it? Sauerkraut? Oatmeal cookies? Paint? Why is that smell so resonant for her?

She thinks of the smell of watermelon. In the summer, her dad and younger brother liked to smash watermelons in the summer, though Courtney thought it was gross. She’d still eat the watermelon remnants in the kitchen with them though.
