The first drawing comes from the canon that when Obanai first fell for Mitsuri, Kaburamaru was so overwhelmed by the sudden change that he bit him. I have to imagine that his heart must have been pounding pretty fast haha. 💕💕

Here’s an Obamitsu fic I just wrapped up! It isn’t very long but I haven’t been writing much lately, so I thought I’d dip my toes in the water a little before diving back in.

I have another one lined up that’s slightly larger, and a third that was just to meet writing goals and is disorganized, so I’ll probably clean it up and finish it.

What part of Europe are Cecil and Cordelia from ?

Well even though Cordelia is named after queen Elizabeth Tudor, she’s from Victorian London! So she was born and raised in London! Cecil is a bit more mysterious. He’s actually half French, his mother from an unknown part of France (most likely the French countryside) when his father brought her and their baby to London after staying there for a time! Cecil was born in France, but all he’s known is London.

Since codelia and cecil have charles , do you think that charles in the future maybe become a yandere like his father ? Or would cecil try to prevent it ?

I did think about it because I’m a fan of the Webtoon “Bastard” and I thought the murderous father and son dynamic might be interesting! But while I do think Cecil would encourage Charles to be protective of his mother, he treasures them both very much and sees them as precious pearls not to be harmed. To Cecil, he’s only “doing what’s necessary to be happy”, so while he cares little for his victims, he recognizes the risk and would never want that for his son or wife. He would never want Charles to be anywhere near danger, that might take him away from his daddy! Cecil and Cordelia are also very loving parents, so Charles would never be starved for love. To me, an older Charles is a big, strong boy that does all the heavy lifting for his mom outside the house, and runs errands for his father. He is loved and praised, all while stealing hearts around town with his golden heart, which is exactly what Cecil and Cordelia should have had as children.

What were the early inspos of cordelia and cecil ? and is there any early concept designs of them

Oh I wish I had any! The first drawing I posted of them is the earliest version I have. As for inspiration I think it comes from a place of a general love for creating characters that work off of each other. I wanted to create a pair where one is a yandere and the other, while oblivious, is not necessarily dumb if too submissive. Not only that but I wanted a yandere that wasn’t just a yandere, but someone who wants love so desperately that he’s willing to go to extreme lengths. More than anything though, I wanted a pair that gush over each other like a Disney prince and princess, Philip and Aurora from Sleeping Beauty may very well have been some inspiration!
