Christmas really did happen in July! Bill of Materials (lot of which aren't shown here) 1. Steeda: camber plates & ultralite sport springs 2. Ford Performance: all new isolators, bellows, dust boots and jounce kit 3. Pedders: roll bars 4. Koni: Sport Yellows 5. UPR: Billet vertical link I'm likely going to need to Ford Performance end links to compensate for the inch drop but I'll make that call depending on how noticable or unstable the bumpsteer is. Last thing is to get wheels and tyres and the suspension will be done! Finally got tired of my windows fogging up during heavy rains, my door card constantly squeeking when you so much as look at it wrong and why my window wasn't sealing properly. So I finally took the door apart to do my own quality check and this is the shit I find. This is EXACTLY why I don't like other people touching my cars, especially when you pay the dumbasses a good amount of money for them to give you shoddy shit like this. Now for the good. Aside from the setbacks that I highlighted in the previous post; It simply can not be ignored that the guys are @crashchampions Lewis Centre Ohio did a fantastic job of bringing this S550's visual appeal back! Before and after photos tell the story, just see for yourselves. Any paint colour variation is imperceptible and I really appreciate that they were very thorough with their work when it comes to the areas of focus (the fender and potential suspension damage). As I said in the previous post, I'm miffed at those short comings and blatant disregard by one or a few of their techs that were involved with this car's restoration. So I got the car back from @crashchampions of Lewis Centre, OH and... It's concerning. They've removed the pins from my battery try and lost them, used my car as a trash bin for their candy wrappers, thrashed my engine some how that caused a CEL misfire on cyl6 (which they seemingly tried to hide and made no mention of to me) and chipped the paint from my passenger side door (likely the result of being too precarious in tight spaces). I guess this is just the way things have to be, huh? Take you car in to be repaired for one thing while a multitude of other problems show up. This might be of great interest to @statefarm , who is my insurer and are responsible for recommending this place to me. This is annoying to say the least... FINALLY completed the oil catch tank transplant! This is the same unit I was running on the MX-5 with astounding results. Somehow forgot to post this :p I was so close to getting 500mi out of a single tank while dashing to NJ over Thanksgiving weekend! This little (big) Cyclone engine has really stood out. Colour me impressed! The light finally came on around 485-490mi into this tank so I went to feed'em up. The photo was taken just after that. ...ok, so 'maybe' the mountains may have helped achieve this number... Just maybe. First big trip with the Hoss and I'm VERY impressed with the MPG numbers and how it handled the trip overall. I may have had some help through the mountains with the way I was operating the cruise controller :p But on avg, I was pacing around 63-75ish MPH, staying in 6th gear and making sure cruise wouldn't floor it when trying to get up to speed.
