Sometimes I think about the fact that like. I have a lot of ships, and a lot of them aren't like... taboo? But since some people with "regular" ships don't like proshippers, I only end up reblogging taboo stuff here. But that's not what proshipping is, just so we're all clear. It's not just the taboo shit, it's the freedom to ship whatever the hell you want.
Like, idk how many people realize that you can be a proshipper without having ANY taboo ships. It's just the belief that people should be allowed to ship whatever they want. Because, while fiction does affect reality, it's not normalization to explore things in fiction that are unsafe or unethical to practice in real life.
The pro in proship stands for being pro-shipping-freedom, not problematic. That's anti rhetoric.
