Also what do you mean translate hex code by hand?!? Like translate it to assembly code or?

That was my first time doing surface mount soldering, and using flux, so really a learning experience all around.

Also not quite that horrible. I've been sifting through a devicetree and some of the configurations are done in hex that I have to translate into binary then look up the meaning of the individual bits in the documentation

I really HATE falling into pit. I think it is HORRIBLE hobby for BADLY experiencing the depths in a SAD and ANNOYING way. While there certainly are the BAD effects falling into pit has on the environment to FORGET; I am too GOOD at falling into pit for that to be a concern. I have gone MINUTES without NOT falling into pit. Is this because I am GOOD at falling into pit or the result of my BAD choice of life? Who can say.
