We had to say goodbye to my sweetest baby boy, my little old man, my absolute soulmate, on Friday. It happened so much faster than I could have imagined. I'll spare everyone the details, but Estel was such a special cat and I don't know how I'm supposed to keep going without him.

He was a senior adoptee, already 10 or 11 when I met him and he first melted into my arms at the shelter. From the first day I brought him home, he cuddled up to me in bed. He was always by my side and was the friendliest boy in the world. We only got 4 wonderful years together, and I'm so glad we did, but I feel so robbed.

I know I don't usually do a lot of personal posts, but I just wanted the world to see him. I wish everyone could have met him and seen how amazing he was.
