It's midnight but I'm thinking abt the au again.

My take on Evillustrator is: Imagine if medieval prince, to play on how he views Mari as can do no wrong perfect, framing her as a princess. His whole episode had a "and we'll be happily ever after!" naiveness to it. And obv as an inversion of traditional fairy tales where villains are the ones doing kidnappings.

+ I think his whole labyrinth/dungeon deal would have a pop-up book aesthetic. Like you literally jumped into an alt dimension (it's all theatrics he drew tho).
