I had a dream that you came to drop some stuff off at my (childhood) home. I took the stuff and pulled you in for a hug. Except, I couldn't feel that hug and my dream couldn't make sense of how we used to hug nor how it felt.

I guess it makes sense that I wouldn't remember as it's been 7 years since our break up. They say it takes 7 years for every cell to be replaced..

I had a dream that we met and caught up and I was sharing all my hobbies and interests with you(making earrings, playing ukelele). It was then that I realized you dont know this version of myself. It is so strange to me to think the hobbies that I pride myself with and are so essential to who I am now is someone you never got to know.

A letter to those who are heart broken:

I am sorry it hasn't worked out for you and while I wish it had, I am now a firm believer of everything happening for a reason. As someone who has secured two 4 year relationships and one 2 year and had her heart broken each time, I know this to be true. There are certain lessons you have to learn each love that you lose. Theres a reason your past relationship(s) havent worked out because at any point if there is doubt, uncertainty or insecurity, then it is not for you. I have finally gotten to a point where I have found "the one" where I no longer feel like I am 'too much' or that I have to change who I am; there is no insecurity or mistrust. There is no uncertainty of how he feels nor any doubt in my mind that he is the one. I wish nothing more for you to find that too, and you will, someday.

I don't know if I'm maturing or if ive just finally found 'the one' but I'm finally getting rid of all the love notes and memorabilia from my exes (from 2012-2022).

I will never forget what each of them taught me in my time with them. But it's time to let go and move on. My past self will thank me. ♥️
