I’m Ari, he/they, I’m 22 and from Australia. I’m a regulus kinnie so do with that what you will. I’ve been in the marauders fandom for about four years. My TikTok account is the same name as this one, and so is my ao3 (I write jegulus mostly, some wolfstar, some dorlene)

and that is quite literally all I have to say about myself.

Hello! I’m not sure if you’ve seen the project hail mary movie but I can’t stop thinking about how jgdo James would react if he saw it. Two lonely aliens traveling in space who find each other and make each other’s lives better and use science and math to save their worlds. I just know James would have FEELINGS about it and I thought I’d share that with you

omg I actually haven’t seen it yet but I’ve been meaning to watch it literally since I saw the trailer MONTHS ago. I’ll definitely keep this in mind when I get around to watching it hahah 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Does pandora view Sirius as an uncle? Or more as a friend? I find her relationships so interesting because she kind of grew up alongside regulus and Sirius and Barty which would affect how she views them and also her being friends with Remus probably makes it so that she doesn’t see him as an uncle either?? Also does she ever meet/get close to any of the other people in James’ life like Dorcas, Marlene, Lily, Moody, etc.

She does view Sirius as an uncle! When they were children, she was much closer with Regulus, and the two of them looked up to Sirius. Sirius sort of took care of them both, so he was a bit like her big brother in a way? But mostly yeah she does view him as an uncle/brother.

As for Remus, funnily enough, she’s actually only ever known him as her uncle. But she definitely views him more as a bestie.

As for the other people in James’ life - Pandora doesn’t really hang around or visit Earth very often. But she has definitely met up with Dorcas and Marlene again as they were part of the team that helped Regulus get away from Umbridge.

But Pandora does get more social as she gets older, so she probably has more interaction with James and Regulus’ friends later in her life!

Hi! If you had to assign the marauders characters to different marvel characters/superpowers, which would you choose??

Sirius and Regulus are Thor and Loki and no one can change my mind on that. They quite literally have matching personalities it’s perfect and unchangeable and I want to write a fic.

Remus is Bruce Banner. I mean the parallels between being a werewolf and being Hulk are just insane.

I do feel like Natasha and Yelena could be Lily and Petunia. And then the whole romance thing between Bruce and Natasha could be adjusted into a best friendship between Remus and Lily.

Mary is Hawkeye. And she’s besties with Lily and she has a family that she keeps hidden from everyone UGH I need Hawkeye Mary in my life.

The more I write about this, the more it’s making me want to write a fic…anyway!

James is where things get really difficult. Because I could see him as Cap, I could see him as Tony, and I could see him as Peter Parker 😭. I think if I were to write a Spider-Man AU fic, James would be Pete, easily. Buuuut if I were writing an Avengers specific AU, I think James would be Tony. Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist 🤷

And then I honestly think I’d make Cap Frank. I think that would be really fun.

Then Pete would be Rhodey for sure. Evan would be Ant-Man, argue with the wall. Pandora would be Wanda. Because yes.

Sooo that just leaves Barty, Dorcas, and Marlene.

Marlene is Star-Lord, Dorcas is Gamora, Barty is Rocket. I would love for Pandora to be Mantis, but she just needs to be Wanda, right?

Is that everyone? There are way more Marvel characters than there are marauders characters, so that makes things harder, but I’m pretty happy with that.

Okay, now I’m really tempted to write a fic about this. If that’s something you guys are interested in, please let me know. Also tell me if you would change anything because this is just a rough estimate that I put together as I was typing HAH 🫶🏻

Who is your favorite character to write and who is your least favorite

in general? Regulus is my favourite to write because I’m a Regulus kinnie. In JGDO, it’s still Regulus but also Remus, because his personality and his life have so much more depth to dive into.

As for least favourites, that’s a bit trickier. I love all the characters so much it feels impossible to have a least favourite to write about. I will say that I find it difficult to write from James’ POV, especially in JGDO, but I still enjoy it a lot!!

Does remus have a child out there somewhere that he doesn’t know about?? I mean the man got around for hundreds of years (good for him) and what if he found out he was a baby daddy at some point

No he doesn’t but I see why you’d wonder that hahahah. Remus is a very sex positive character in this fic, and that also means he’s extra safe with it! And remember that he’s from the 51st century and definitely has much better protection than the current 21st century birth control :)))

Does alternate universe remus ever settle down? In the main universe of jgdo, remus only settles down relationship-wise when he meets sirius. But if sirius never existed in the alternate universe, then he never meets him and he just keeps on hooking up with people across the galaxy? Since he never met pandora that also probably means he never met alicia. I just wonder about his life and how different it is to face of the moon remus

Alternate universe Remus does not settle down :(((

Him settling down is absolutely reliant on Sirius, as Sirius is the only person for him. However, that’s just because the alternative universe shown in the fic is a parallel one to James and Regulus’. But there are obviously plenty of other universes out there where Remus isn’t a Time Agent from the Moonshane Peninsula, and him and Sirius find each other!

After james’ mom returns back to gryffindor from seeing him/regulus/sirius, does she tell the rest of the family (like her husband and james’ kids and patience) that james is doing okay/happy/married to a human? Also if she knew about regulus does that mean she also knew about pandora? I’m just wondering if james’ family misses him and what they think about his new life and him being with a human and his kids having another sibling out in the world that they’ll never meet. Because if I knew that I had a sister but I could never meet her, I would wonder about her a lot

As much as I LOVE this idea, unfortunately Effie wouldn’t have told anyone about seeing James. It’s the whole “foreknowledge is dangerous” thing. Plus, she was returning to a war zone, where a past version of James would be currently planning and plotting to destroy the planet. Like there wouldn’t have been time for her to tell his family about him :((

But you’re right that Effie also knew about Pandora. She was able to see into the future, hence why she made James and Regulus the matching rings.

Also, sadly, Monty has passed away by this point, as he died during the Time War.

If it’s any consolation, I’ll probably write some stuff about James’ life on Gryffindor in the spinoff! So we’ll get to see him interacting with his family, his wife, and we’ll get to see Peter again! 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Hello! Random question but if Jegulus end up having human/gryffindorian (but not time lord) children, then they would still be continuing their bloodlines. Do they ever run into their descendants when they travel (like their grandchildren, great grandchildren, 10 greats down grandchildren etc.)? James never really had that opportunity but now that he and regulus are together it should be possible that they could meet future generations related to them (I think)

It would definitely be possible! Super rare, because the universe is HUGE. But it’s possible. I don’t have any plans to include scenes like that in the spinoff, but yeah it’s definitely something that could happen! :))

Pandora doesn’t really use labels, as she’s a Time Lord and they typically don’t consider themselves to be of a certain gender/sexuality. But in short, yeah, she’s not really overly interested in romantic or sexual connections 😊

What would be jgdo James’s favorite movies/tv shows?? Also same question for jgdo Regulus, Sirius, and Remus.

I think James would love media where humans attempt to depict the afterlife, gods, and existential concepts. TV shows like the Good Place, because Eleanor would definitely remind him of Reg from time to time, which he would find very funny. Or films where people are time travelling or space travelling, because he’d love to sit there and be all “that would never work” “you can’t even do that” “omg should we go there tomorrow?”

Now Regulus LOVES an angsty romance. He pretends to care about films with romance in them for other reasons, but he secretly just loves watching characters fall in love. He’d watch something like Spider-Man and be like “oh wow this plot is so great haha!” but really he just wants to see Peter and MJ kiss, you know?

Sirius wants either action or comedy. Like he wants to snuggle up and watch a comfort sitcom like Friends with a cup of tea, or he wants to be screaming at the TV watching Die Hard or Indiana Jones. That man is all or nothing, 0 or 100, no in between.

Now Remus is happy with anything, but the man does love him some sex, so anything that’s raunchy will be gold for him. He’d watch Heated Rivalry and start critiquing their sex skills. BUT he’d also be happy to cuddle up to Sirius to watch some comfort sitcoms as well. He especially loves New Girl and Jess reminds him of Sirius.

I have another question: does Remus exist in the parallel universe? And if so does he ever meet human James or any of the others? I’d love to know what his life looked like if he never ended up becoming the face of the moon (also does our Remus ever learn about/meet this parallel universe Remus?)

Sorry for the late reply haha, I’ll answer both your questions here.

For your last question, no, James and Lily won’t get together in the alternate universe. For starters, it’s been centuries for James since their relationship, he’s regenerated loads of times, so he just doesn’t feel that way towards Lily anymore. And similarly, Lily’s feelings for him have also passed. She loves him, but she isn’t IN love with him anymore, if that makes sense. But they’re definitely besties ❤️

As for Remus, his life would be very different because the parallel universe doesn’t have Regulus, and Regulus is the reason for many things in Remus’ life. Not just his immortality, and his reason for meeting James and travelling with him, but also (as we will learn in the spinoff) Remus wouldn’t have strayed away from the Time Agency and started breaking their rules without Pandora, and Pandora comes from James and Regulus.

So, Remus in the parallel universe would most likely be your regular, every day Time Agent from the 51st century!

Hi! If/when jgdo James and regulus have more kids, would those kids ever be able to meet Pandora? Or would their timelines not overlap? Is there ever a time where they get to have their whole family all together at once?

I don’t want to give too much away so I won’t go into detail, but yes!!

Pandora is extremely clever with how she interacts with James and Regulus. Same as James, she keeps a journal where she writes everything down and how old they are when she sees them. She is constantly visiting them when they are at different points in their lives!

That’s all I’ll say because I don’t want to spoil anything, as I do have plans to write about this stuff in the spinoff 🤭🫶🏻🫶🏻
