thought I’d do a little introduction finally:

I’m Ari, he/they, I’m 22 and from Australia. I’m a regulus kinnie so do with that what you will. I’ve been in the marauders fandom for about four years. My TikTok account is the same name as this one, and so is my ao3 (I write jegulus mostly, some wolfstar, some dorlene)

What would be jgdo James’s favorite movies/tv shows?? Also same question for jgdo Regulus, Sirius, and Remus.

I think James would love media where humans attempt to depict the afterlife, gods, and existential concepts. TV shows like the Good Place, because Eleanor would definitely remind him of Reg from time to time, which he would find very funny. Or films where people are time travelling or space travelling, because he’d love to sit there and be all “that would never work” “you can’t even do that” “omg should we go there tomorrow?”

Now Regulus LOVES an angsty romance. He pretends to care about films with romance in them for other reasons, but he secretly just loves watching characters fall in love. He’d watch something like Spider-Man and be like “oh wow this plot is so great haha!” but really he just wants to see Peter and MJ kiss, you know?

Sirius wants either action or comedy. Like he wants to snuggle up and watch a comfort sitcom like Friends with a cup of tea, or he wants to be screaming at the TV watching Die Hard or Indiana Jones. That man is all or nothing, 0 or 100, no in between.

Now Remus is happy with anything, but the man does love him some sex, so anything that’s raunchy will be gold for him. He’d watch Heated Rivalry and start critiquing their sex skills. BUT he’d also be happy to cuddle up to Sirius to watch some comfort sitcoms as well. He especially loves New Girl and Jess reminds him of Sirius.

I have another question: does Remus exist in the parallel universe? And if so does he ever meet human James or any of the others? I’d love to know what his life looked like if he never ended up becoming the face of the moon (also does our Remus ever learn about/meet this parallel universe Remus?)

Sorry for the late reply haha, I’ll answer both your questions here.

For your last question, no, James and Lily won’t get together in the alternate universe. For starters, it’s been centuries for James since their relationship, he’s regenerated loads of times, so he just doesn’t feel that way towards Lily anymore. And similarly, Lily’s feelings for him have also passed. She loves him, but she isn’t IN love with him anymore, if that makes sense. But they’re definitely besties ❤️

As for Remus, his life would be very different because the parallel universe doesn’t have Regulus, and Regulus is the reason for many things in Remus’ life. Not just his immortality, and his reason for meeting James and travelling with him, but also (as we will learn in the spinoff) Remus wouldn’t have strayed away from the Time Agency and started breaking their rules without Pandora, and Pandora comes from James and Regulus.

So, Remus in the parallel universe would most likely be your regular, every day Time Agent from the 51st century!

Hi! If/when jgdo James and regulus have more kids, would those kids ever be able to meet Pandora? Or would their timelines not overlap? Is there ever a time where they get to have their whole family all together at once?

I don’t want to give too much away so I won’t go into detail, but yes!!

Pandora is extremely clever with how she interacts with James and Regulus. Same as James, she keeps a journal where she writes everything down and how old they are when she sees them. She is constantly visiting them when they are at different points in their lives!

That’s all I’ll say because I don’t want to spoil anything, as I do have plans to write about this stuff in the spinoff 🤭🫶🏻🫶🏻

Hello! I have a question about any potential future kid that James and Regulus would have in jai guru. If the time lord gene isn’t dominant, then they’d have to conceive during in the time vortex. But it sounded a bit like James didn’t want that? Does he not want any future kids they have to be time lords? And if that’s true, then why not? If they were human, they wouldn’t live as long or have as much protection/immunization that time lord bodies do. I could be reading it wrong but it seems like he would want them to be human. And how does Regulus feel about this? Would he want his kids to be time lords or humans? Because regardless any kids they’d have could be hunted down/used against them regardless if they were human or not. And if it were me, I would want my kids to live as long as possible and be as healthy/safe/resourceful as possible like most time lords

Yep, you’re right. Both James and Regulus don’t want more Time Lord children.

If they do have more kids, they’ll be Gryffindoric and human. And yeah, that means the child won’t live as long, but James has always felt that a life as long as his is a curse.

Plus, due to them being nearly extinct, Time Lords are extremely sought after within the universe. The last time they had a Time Lord child, the Silence infiltrated Earth for hundreds of years and grew an entire organisation just to turn that kid into a weapon to kill James, they are NOT taking that risk again haha.

At the end of the day, any kid they have can end up in some sort of danger, but Regulus is human and he manages! The risks of harm are much greater with a Time Lord child than with a Gryffindoric-human child.

Question for you: What are your top 3 favorite fics you’ve written and why are they your favorite??

great question!

first place easily goes to Jai Guru Deva Om. I’ve gotten so attached to the characters and the plotlines, plus it’s genuinely been so much fun to write. I love how involved people are getting in it and I appreciate all the love for that fic!

second place would probably be Regulus’ Extraordinary Playlist. It was such a weird idea for a fic, but it was really fun and unique to put together. It’s just nice to write something a bit different and sort of strange haha.

I think third place has to go to the Honour Among Thieves series, specifically Honour. I have a soft spot for those fics even though they were some of the first ones I ever wrote so my writing style was a bit different. I just love that version of jegulus, AND that version of wolfstar, AND that version of dorlene.

What do you think James would do if regulus died in jgdo? I don’t mean like he died of old age and lived a long life. I mean like if he died young (like his current age) and he died trying to save the world or save someone or something like what happened to Adric. And he didn’t get to grow old with James or have any more kids or have any of his future dreams come true. I know James would crash out in some way but I honestly wonder if James would just live in denial and break the universe’s rules to undo it or something

He would definitely be searching for ways to undo it and would probably get himself targeted by the shadow proclamation in the process. I don’t think he would just sit there and be like “well that’s that.” But yes he’d definitely be breaking rules left right and centre, and probably creating some really nasty side effects for the timeline.

Eventually, I think he’d realise that it’s not going to work, and would inevitably continue with his life. But would probably fall back into the attitude he carried before he met Regulus, and wouldn’t be interested in regenerating again :(

I have a couple of ideas floating around in my head, but I’m not sure what I’ll do, if any. I definitely will be focusing on the JGDO spin-off next though.

There are loads of tv shows that I think would make great jegulus fics. But it really depends how I’m feeling, I’ve been writing JGDO non-stop for over a year so I might need a little break, but I’ll keep updating where I’m at :))

perhaps the next one will be a Spider-Man AU because that’s my current hyperfixation hahaha 👀
