My Worst Online Shopping Experience
I just have to vent this out. Can't post this on facebook because that seller is on facebook. Oh kay.
I have been buying items online since 2012 and every transaction was done smoothly. No hassles and all. I could wait for 2 weeks if it's a pre-order system and the seller would really deliver and accommodating. Here in the Philippines, we don't just rely on online shops like Lazada, Shoppee, Zalora, E-bay, Amazon, etc. There are small online shops who operate on Facebook or Instagram. And so far, whether I purchase on an app or thru social media platforms, I didn't have any problems.
Until I bought stuff from this Facebook group shop.
We all know that some Korean brands are not available here and you can buy them online. There are some sellers who gets their supply in bulk orders to get discounts and eventually sell them with a lower price. Before, I had no problems purchasing Korean products with other sellers... Even on pre-orders. And I joined this facebook group that sells KBeauty products. So I thought, "Maybe I could try buying again. This product is promising and the seller is promising too."
They had what they call "slot taking" wherein the seller has a specific number of products for pre-order and buyers would comment how many "slots" they are going to reserve for that product. I have been observing this type of transaction in this group (also in other groups) and it was thrilling to comment "mine" first. So after a long time of observing, this seller had the slot taking for a lip product that is veeeeery cheap. Lucky enough, I had 2 slots. I paid with the shipping fee and waited. I paid December 2017.
This is where the nightmare started.
I waited for my orders to be shipped. Seller is constantly updating for the parcels she has already dispatched for delivery. I have been waiting for my waybill to be posted but to no avail... Mine was not included. I tried to message the seller, she didn't reply. They opened a thread for follow ups. No reply.
What made me pissed is that, she is already opening another sale or pre-order when she/they knew that the previous batch is not yet done. And there was the delay of the deliveries. Where is the management here??
I understand that she is in a one-woman business. Her partner is not around. She needs to take care of her child. But the circumstance shows she lacks management skills. It is something she can improve on. But still. Customer satisfaction is the factor that a seller should check. It can gauge if the business is still good or meeting its standards. I can rant more but my hands are tired. Lol.

For the seller, I'll still wait. But if it still not delivered before February... I will not get a refund, it would just mean I will have another transaction with you. You keep my money. I don't want any connection with you. Forget it. I'll leave your group. You will lose a possible loyal customer. #meh
