This is an on-going portfolio and this blog is where I post my own photos. It is really just a way to showcase my work essentially. You don’t have to really, but if you could, reblog this post. I am trying to get noticed on here. I just want as many people as possible to see my work and to tell me how I can improve. I shoot variety: Mostly Landscapes, black and white, people, film, digital etc.. I have a desire to shoot everything. What I need though is for my work to be noticed. This is what I want to do and I will do it. Photography is my passion in life.

So one of my best partners died today. He followed every step of my existence for the last 13 years. He was the most stupid, but also the cutest because of his stupidity and sweet personality, his flaws and bad habits, his non-existent independence. He had many things to deal with, health-wise, during his whole life. But he had a good one. He was happy. The older he got, the sweeter and happier he became.
He was one lucky bastard that he met us in 1998. He could not have asked for any better. We took care of him despite his apparent ugliness. I think not a lot of people would have done that. In fact, because he was the way he was he had to face an almost certain death. Which we luckily prevented.
Yes, it is my cat I'm talking about. 'Just a cat' you may think, but to me he was so much more than that. A member of the family and one of the most amazing creatures I've met in my life because his flaws, his not being pretty, his snoring and, most of all, his not cat-like behaviour.
His name was Simba. Not an original name I have to agree. He was a beige Persian cat, you know, those with a flat face and no nose. Like the evil cat from Cats and Dogs. But Simba had even less nose than this one.
My mother found him, abandonned in the middle of the woods, far from any path, during the harshest winter we've had while living in Switzerland. Tons of snow and very, very cold. He was obviously one of those animals given away as presents at Christmas and birthdays. His origin will remain unknown forever, but the probability is high that he comes somewhere from Eastern Europe where there unfortunately exist sorts of 'breeding factories' where pure breed animals are bred in a cheap way.
He was in bad shape but he survived and we decided to keep him. He was the most ugly kitten in the world and, well, most people would say that he was still ugly as a full-grown adult cat, but for me and my family he was the cutest. Not beautiful, but incredibly cute.
He had a dog's personality. Trusting and loyal, without the snobbishness and independance of every other cat. That's what made him so unique and special, apart from his craziness, his missed and therefore hilarious jumps because of his bad sight and his coming when you would call him, his amazingly loud purring, his undemanding love for us.
I love you Simba. You will always be dat dütedte Mü dat ed gibt and all these other things.
