are you concerned about how the tumblr porn purge will affect this account? just wondering if there is going to be an alternative marketing plan in place considering the current situation.

Hey there, this blog is not marked as nsfw because we do not actually have any explicit content on it--this allows people who do not have a tumblr to still access all the information on it. So this blog should be safe from deletion, but we do have a back up plan in place just in case, we have our twitter account @poundzerozine as well, and we are going to launch a mailing list very soon. :)

Is there any particular number of pairings you’re looking for people to pitch in their applications when those open up? I’m a multi shipper, but I don’t ship all my ships like FedEx, so I wanted to get an idea of how many pitches you’d like to see. That way I can better plan my app 😊 thank you for coming back to make this zine, and I hope the mod team is having as smooth a time of it as possible. You’re doing the Lord’s work, tbh ❤️

Thank you for the well wishes!! :* We'd like for applicants to put down as many or as few pairings as they'd be happy to write/illustrate for the zine. You'll only be asked to do one from your list, of course, but we don't want people to feel like they must put down more (or fewer) than what they are really interested in! :)

I'm just here to say that every spotlight creator is outrageously talented, you mods are absolute saints for taking on a second wonderful zine, and I'm thrilled Bakugou gets his own platform of attention! You guys all rock!

The applications page says that there will only be one entry for each pairing allowed for authors. Do the pairings chosen by the guest authors who are picked before applications are being opened mean that a pairing may not be available for those who must wait?

No, invited contributors will not claim pairings/ideas ahead of contributors who join via application. :)

Will there be multi bakugo ships in this fanzine? Like maybe some with ochako or other girls? B)

The zine is open to all Bakugou ships, yes! And it is not restricted to m/m ships either, so m/f ships are welcome!

Omg I can't wait to get this Bakugou Zine ! I read Bed Riot over and over and I love it ! Are you ever going to do more zine with both My Hero Academia Females and Males ?

I'm so excited for this zine! But also really nervous because I'm thinking about applying as a writer and I've never applied for a zine before! Would we give a pitch in our application? If so, would it affect our chances of being accepted if the mods don't like the pitch/someone has a similar pitch?? Or would we just be asked to come up with something different if we get accepted? Thanks!!

Hey there, we're so thrilled you're excited!

We only ask for what ships and/or non-ship concepts you are interested in possibly writing, but if you have a specific pitch you are free to put that in there as well! If accepted, you will not be asked to do anything you did not put in your app, so please keep that in mind when filling it out, since for fic we won't have any repeats or too similar ideas as there will be limited slots!

2 questions: in the case of collabs. The artist will have to do how many pieces? And will it be possible to name a friend to collab with in case both get picked? Does it alter chances of getting in?

The artist will only have to do 1 piece. If you have in mind someone you want to collab with, you can say so in the comments part of the application, but it won't change your chances of being accepted either way.

Hey would the zine have some merch like a poster or a charm or etc ? Like the Bed Riot.

Yes, there will be merch + zine bundles available to purchase! Merch will be revealed when we get closer to pre-orders opening. :)
