black hole to white hole to big bang. black to white to red. what do you think? it also accounts for the labyrinthine or wheels within wheels design of "god as substance" as a condensed loop forming spacetime, like fabric sewn in loops so tiny as to not really be observable within the fabric. like very expensive sheets, but in 4D. the halo resembles an event horizon, which would correlate with the non-observable stage of the inner hell and decay in alchemy. it would also support hydrogen being the prima materia, after being expelled from the white hole. does that make sense?

She probably can't control it as much when she's tired so, if her and Bea are cuddling, she'd be lit up half the night I'd guess. It'd be super hard to sleep with that bright light in your face sooo

Story time. So I was with extended family on my step mom's side today, people I haven't seen in at least 8 years. So I had a lot of people coming up to me saying like wow it's been forever, how are you/how have you been? And so badly I wanted to just shatter social norms and just say yeah well I've been better. You probably want to know what I'm doing for work (working minimum wage, I'm sure you can relate what with your substantial upper class lifestyle) or if I'm in school (I'm not, oh why not, oh y'know I don't want to be saddled with crippling debt for the next 4 decades of my life. I'm sure you can relate what with your substantial upper class wealth) or if I have plans for my future (I don't, I'm sure you can relate what with your inhereted upper class employment opportunities) but REALLY the most important thing in my life right now is that my gay nun show was cancelled (you wouldn't have heard of it) and my main focus is now the internet campaign to save it. It's truly the only thing that matters to me right now. Being gay is a neverending battle to get the smallest scraps of everything that is given freely to the rest of the world. So I've been better, anyway how are you?

I’m going to be completely transparent here. I watched Warrior Nun back when it was released in 2020 and absolutely fell in love with the show. I knew it was special and had so much potential and was incredibly surprised to find out that Netflix had requested it end on the cliffhanger it did and actually followed up with a second season. After the new trend of “Cancel your gays” that’s been happening this year though I remember telling a friend “well, guess I’ll enjoy this second season of Warrior Nun before they cancel it”. I also recall seeing this tweet from Simon Barry:

The writing seemed pretty on the wall at that point. Netflix wasn’t going to properly promote the show - they didn’t care. But this little show that so few people knew about released its second season and man oh man the response was fantastic. I’m just truly so impressed by the amount of love for Warrior Nun from the fanbase, the crew, the cast; it’s really just incredibly special. I think anyone who’s looking at this tag is very much painfully aware but something like this doesn’t happen often where all the stars really align: incredible writing, cinematography, acting, VFX, etc. While I really have no clue what options actually exist and whether or not we’ll get the proper closure we all deserve I’m still incredibly grateful to get to love on a show with a Showrunner that gets it and truly cares.

Tiny things I love and appreciate about Warrior Nun today:

In S1 Lilith says Mary sucks at hand to hand. She does. Lilith beats her ass every time.

Also in S1, sister Francis could easily have been possessed by a wraith demon to explain away her murdering disabled children. She wasn't. The show wants us to see that any and all people are fallible, and it's the decisions you make that define you.

simon saying "it saved my life for sure" about the post-credit scene knowing that if we hadn't seen that glowing blue sword it would have been apocalyptic for him as a creator and for us as fans. the world has been cruel to us but somewhere there's a worse one where he didn't fight for us to get to see that damn sword light up for 2 seconds

I have never told a living soul this but the only reason I’m still here today was because back in 2020 (really dark times, I’m sure, for everyone), I was writing a multi-chapter Avatrice AU and didn’t have the heart to leave my audience hanging. I already left my log in credentials to a friend but the story kept requiring more chapters than originally planned, and so I kept going. I finished the fic as soon as the clocks struck midnight of the new year, fireworks outside and all.

I owe this man my life.

It says a lot about Lilith's character that, when Ava has her foot stuck in the wall after having 'run and left Lilith to die from a Tarask attack' in episode three of season one, Ava having just sarcastically snapped, "Well, are you going to help me or just stand there?" as she's yanking at her foot to pull it out...

Lilith pauses, but then moves forward to help her.

It's only when Mother Superion tells her to stop as Ava got herself into the mess and she can get herself out, that Lilith steps back again and continues her angered words.

And that. That action. It's so important. Because even though she was mad at Ava and frustrated at her possession of the halo, Lilith was still going to help her anyway.

It's such a small, blink and you miss it moment, but it speaks volumes as to who Lilith is, and was, before she ultimately got wrapped up in losing her chance at being the Warrior Nun and the resulting trajectory her life took because of it.

Which, you know, involved stepping forward to help Ava again that ended in her sacrificing herself... And from an actual Tarask attack this time, too.
