Kuroha looked down at the smoking mess in disapproval.  “You aren’t supposed to leave them in for that long…also you used too much milk in the wet mixture…did you even attempt to mix the wet and dry ingredients?”  He seemed to know a lot about baking, for someone who’s murdered a lot of kids.

"But… how else was I supposed to mix the gummy bears and skittles in?" Hiyori asked, looking at Kuroha in confusion. Maybe Kuroha wasn’t the best person to ask to help her learn how to cook and bake, seeing as he was as likely to kill her as help her, but, well, she couldn’t find Ayano or anyone else she knew.

Of course, her lack of knowledge in the skill combined with her attempts at creating recipes that no one has even heard before (and, in this case, for good reason) caused her to try to make this abomination out of peppermint, broccoli, gummy bears, skittles, cherries, and garlic, along with regular cookie ingredients such as sugar and flour.

Looking closely at the ingredients, Kuroha's jaw dropped in shock.  "...Hiyori....you really have no idea how to bake do you?  If you want to put these things in biscuits, you should at most use them to decorate the tops, and never use broccoli or garlic, what is wrong with you!?" he hissed, more frustration in his voice than aggression.  "We're starting from scratch, get your ingredients out"

Hiyori didn’t know what went wrong. She was just baking cookies, and yet… they didn’t look at all like cookies, just a bunch of cooked, multicolored gunk. “…… what did I do wrong?”

"No wait KageROU PLEASE COME BACK" the strange snake man screeched, turning to run for his son when he tripped over his own two feet, exposing a little too much.  Poor Kagerou, how would he ever recover from this or speak to his dad ever again, even with Christmas around the corner...
