Tasting your blood means I love you
I'm a fan of Soviet classics😭🙏🙏🙏 I don't know many people my age who also like old movies. They have so much warmth, comfort, and unique charisma that you can't find anywhere else… Although it's undeniable that my family watched them constantly as I grew up, and these movies have become a part of my body and soul, they have penetrated so deeply that it's unclear whether I love them for their own sake or out of a sense of kinship and nostalgia. In any case, it doesn't stop you from getting a huge pleasure of watching it)
My top 3: The Man from Kaputsinov Boulevard Ivan Vasilyevich Changes Profession The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed
I had a long story about my sexual education (I'll be blunt), in which I came to the realization that sexual intercourse is an act of tenderness, not something dirty or shameful. In an art piece inspired by the song "Искры" by Дайте Танк (!), I depicted the first time…. For me, this event is filled with warmth, light, embarrassment, childlike innocence, honesty, and love. Love is the most important aspect, as it makes the act of tenderness meaningful.
— Have you ever had anyone? — I'm sorry? — And when I said "had", I'm being indelicate… I'll be delicate then. Let's have dinner. — Why? — You might be hungry. — I'm not. — Good. — Why would I… want to have dinner if I wasn't hungry? — Mr Holmes, if it was the end of the world, if this was the very last night... would you have dinner with me?
— You don't actually think I was interested in you? Why? Because you're the great Sherlock Holmes, the clever detective in the funny hat? — No. Because I took your pulse.
This scene has always been very important to me, and now that I'm getting more sentimental with age, it constantly brings tears to my eyes. The fact that John couldn't tell the therapist about Mary's hallucination, but started talking to her in front of Sherlock, killed me, tore my heart out, and continues to do so with every rewatch.🙏
There have always been and will always be Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson.
