Quietus (for frayach) by novembersnow: If you enjoy redemption-arc Draco, or Draco-focused fic in general, you’re going to love this. There are really two relationships at work here - the natural, growing attraction between Harry and the person Draco isn’t, and a more instinctual one that Harry and Draco clearly feel for each other despite everything. The author does a great job of leading one into the other, and manages to completely avoid consent issues common to false-identity fic. A surprisingly quiet (ha) read for a story set in postwar fallout.

Plot: After the war, Draco seeks redemption by working undercover for the Order - who neglected to tell him when he signed up that he would be living under Glamour with an oblivious Harry Potter.

Author Summary: To save himself and his family, Draco must disappear in plain sight—of Harry Potter, that is.

Oscillate Wildly by V.G. Marks (marksykins): It's rare that a fic written over 10 years ago holds up as well as this one. If you've seen the Buffy episode it's based off, the plot will be immediately recognizable. I hadn't when I first read this fic, though, and it was still easy to follow. In one world, Harry is surrounded by everyone we know from Hogwarts - in the other, nonmagical world, a number of his closest friends are missing, but others never died. Harry will eventually have to make a choice between two worlds that both seem real. (Nonmagic!Draco's story kills me.)

Plot: In lieu of this, I'm including both author summary and intro notes below.

Author Summary: After a particularly grueling Occlumency session, Harry practically comes apart at the seams and finds himself living partway between two lives. One is his life at Hogwarts. In the other, he's been in a mental institution for the better part of six years. What happens when Harry realises his whole life may be one elaborate fantasy? Notes: The plot bunny for this story spawned from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode, "Normal Again", where she finds herself stuck between the world she knows and a world where she's been in an asylum since she was in high school. This is not a crossover, though and my story will not spoil the Buffy episode. In fact, the plots only have a few elements in common. No Buffy  characters will be making an appearance. The title comes from a song by The Smiths. The song has no lyrics, but feel free to make up your own. Warning: Please be advised this story contains descriptions of mental illness and self-injury.

Lettered by pir8fancier: Epistolary fic entirely from Draco’s perspective. Features Draco writing sexy letters, Harry being clueless, and honesty. Warning for mention of past non-con. (Also uses the term “AK” once which is a small pet peeve of mine but YMMV.) There’s also a Harry-perspective remix called Reading Between the Lines by mereol which I haven't read. Plot: Draco begins sending anonymous letters to Harry in their seventh year. As Harry responds, Draco’s curiosity slowly morphs into something more. I was under the impression tumblr would allow in-page searching for up to 30 tags per post, but functionally it seems to be allowing 25 or less. Right Hand Red by lumosed_quill with art by iwao - I had already planned to put an older fic rec (Seamus is Seamus) up when I read this one and I decided to just post them both because ugh, this is so good. It was written for the 2015 HP Big Bang, so it's long and comes with (some NSFW) illustrations. Big Bang fests are the best. Fantastic, baby.

Plot: As eighth-years coming back to Hogwarts, Harry and Draco get a new start on their relationship with each other, which includes new room assignments, muggle party games, and all the UST. Also, parking.

Author Summary:  Harry felt Malfoy's breath on his lips as they came together over the bottle, hands firmly planted on the floor as though they each needed their familiar soil, refusing to cross into enemy territory.  Except that Malfoy no longer felt like his enemy.  Malfoy felt inevitable.

Seamus is Seamus and You are Yourself by Ari Munami - Crackfic-ish in the best way. Almost everyone wants newly hottified Harry's action, Harry only wants the D. I'm sorry. (No, I'm not.)

Plot: 'Harry suddenly becomes super attractive' story seen from multiple perspectives. Some very silly moments, but ultimately a cute H/D story. Features gay!Seamus and protective non-boyfriend!Draco.

 Author summary: Harry goes through some er... changes in his Sixth Year and everyone, including Draco Malfoy, sits up and takes notice.

Open For Repairs by FeelsForBreakfast - Username accurate. So many feels in this fic. The way Harry and Draco get to know each other is relatively quiet and understated, but it's clear they're helping each other heal in ways neither of them could have achieved on their own. Props for good side characters. Impressed by this one overall. It made this jaded Drarry fan all charmed, go read it.

Plot: Harry runs into Draco unexpectedly when he goes to have a muggle appliance fixed. It's amazing how quickly all his appliances seem to break after that.

Author Summary: After the war, Draco works at a tv repair shop and Harry breaks things feat. sad boys in jumpers and more ABBA than is probably necessary

The Lodger by mad_martha - Harry is having trouble living after the war, Draco can't catch a break. A classic in the caring/nursing hurt/comfort genre. Plot: See summary. Author Summary: Years after Voldemort's death and the end of the war, a lonely and alienated Harry Potter decides to take in a lodger. The result isn't quite what he anticipated. He has more in common with his new housemate than he expected, and together they learn to look life – and the wizarding world - in the face again.

Turn by Sara's Girl - On my ultimate top-5 list. Long and impossible to put down. Don't start on a work/school night. Been known to cause tears and/or tattoo appointments. Sara's Girl is amazing. Plot: Harry is given the chance to see how things could have been. Author Summary: One good turn always deserves another. Apparently.

I've been searching for a particular fic for weeks, & with some work & luck this blog can save myself & others that hassle. I've read a truly ridiculous number of Drarry fics, and the goal is to archive all the decent ones here over time. Other Drarry fic archives have been a huge help, especially Capitu's.
