Well Greer's sitting in the office with Reese & she asks if Marc is still out (he missed their dick appointment two days ago) while reading the Bugle's issue about the Midnight Man returning. Reese starts asking questions about Marc, Greer deflects (kinda, she knows about the Midnight Man history & the gears are already turning) & Reese asks about Steven.

Greer didn't know about the system until this series.

"Grant's not my story to tell." She wouldn't have known before this run, they didn't talk for how long & Marc had pushed Jake & Steven away during the WCAs stint. & yes Marc is putting in time with Dr Sterman & slowly starting to open up & yes Greer thinks vulnerability is hot (other peoples', not her own lel) & yeah fuck, who doesn't wanna smash MK? Maybe she took advantage of him a little bit. Maybe he needed to be comforted & maybe she needed to be fucked hardcore style.

I DIDN'T THINK uh yeah Marc no fucking shit you didn't think coz she would never but uh anyway what was my point again... oh yeah this?? idk about this man either Marc was having some incredibly strong feelings or he let it slip after they had sex crazy style after the vampire coven thing in issue #17 (my personal headcanon) & then Greer was like uh mmm nnnnnnnope not rn & then did some incrediblely deep thinking / hunting IN THIS ISSUE & came to the conclusion that ahh yes she is in too deep & she's made a mistake bc he's doing this fucking shit but it ain't even about that it's about him lying to her & fronting with Mr Knight when he hangs out with her kid (fucking phreak). so she tells him how much he's fucked up & fumbled a bad bitch but he makes up for it later.

Frank stares at Will. There's a quick flash of envy in his eyes before looking at Greer. He had half a mind to give her the middle finger. "Yeah, yeah. Just know that hoard of cats are being picked up."

“Wait, what!?”

Greer quickly turns off the burner & rushes over to the window, grabbing Will by the scruff of his neck as she lifts it open with her other paw.

“What’re ya, the Kitten Punisher now? Assho—” she cuts herself off because she’d rather not have her five year old repeat shit like this at school. Will’s rearing in her paw, trying to take a swipe at Frank. Smart kid she’s got there. “Will, stop — go set the table.” she ushers him back toward the kitchen, grabs Frank’s shirtfront in it & yanks him forward so close their noses almost touch. His torso is almost completely over the windowsill.

“Stay here.” Greer pulls him all the way inside before she trades places. Paws reach up to the top of the window, hesitating for a moment. “n’keep outta my third drawer.” & then, she slams the window shut & leaps off into the night.

Time to save some tabby’s.

She twists her torso toward the window, neck stretching out long so she could get a look at him. Greer grins like the Cheshire Cat — guess those alley cats got to him after all. “Did you pick up the milk, honey?”
