Your entry to the New Year is marked with the occurrence of the New Moon. The New Moon is symbolic of the beginning of something new and is also a good time to plant any seeds of intention. Since the new moon is happening at the wake of the New Year, it is definitely a good time to make resolutions and your motivation levels will me at the top so as to take these resolutions seriously and see them through. Yet, I would want you take some extra care this period. The new moon takes place on January 1st and is working in tandem with some tense planetary alignments. You could start feeling the tension in the air building a week before January 1st, but by 5th, situations do improve. The best advice would be to stay in your comfort zone this period and avoid socializing with people less known and avoid heading to areas unknown. Since there are a total of five planetary bodies in the area of your chart focusing on friendships and social groups, you could be the receiver of a bag-full of invitation cards and have recently even been the climbing the charts of popularity! Follow your heart and if you’d rather prefer to spend some time with your loved ones or even alone for that matter (a very Piscean thing to do), do just that. January 1st to the 5th could see you slightly stressed about matter concerning other people’s behaviours or plans. A friendship could be highlighted this period. Don’t be surprised if you come across an ex this period, or even old friends that you preferred not to keep in touch with, especially between the 25th and 31st of January. Welcome to the New Year, Aquarius! This New Year interestingly starts off with a new moon, which is quite unique. New moons symbolize new beginnings, so it is a good time to lay the foundations, plant the seeds and begin something anew. This makes this New Year a perfect time to make resolutions and set intentions. Because this particular new moon is happening in conjunction to some tense planetary alignments, a few days before and a few days after the new moon (January 1st) could seem to be tense for everyone. But don’t worry, as this applies to all the signs, and by January 5th things start clearing up. Yet I’ll provide a few words of advice which I have included for all the signs regarding this January new moon. Try and remain in your ‘comfort-zone’ this period (a week before January 1st till around January 5th). Avoid socializing with people lesser known in places unknown. Also if possible, avoid planning any trips during this period. Besides this, the new moon also asks you to focus on yourself and lays emphasis on your personal time. You may perhaps be feeling fatigued by the work from the past few weeks. Perhaps you’ve had to complete many deadlines, chores, organize events, travel as well as balance your personal life, so on and so forth. Take some time off between 1st to the 5th at the least to rejuvenate yourself if not anything else. The first few days of January could present some obstacles with people living in foreign countries, foreign trade, documentation, paperwork, education and perhaps even travel plans. Avoid lining up anything major on these dates if possible. Also don’t worry if you receive any negative news in regards to the above this period. By the 5th, these obstacles get cleared. This is going to definitely be an important month for you Capricorn. The New Year starts with a new moon in your sign which symbolizes the start of something new. Since its happening in your sign on the first day of the New year, it definitely is a good time to make resolutions. Try and avoid arguments this period with your partners or loved ones and make no decisions in a hurry. This New Year begins with a new moon, Virgo! New moons usually signify new beginnings and is a good time to begin something, set goals and intentions as well plan ahead on things to be done. Considering it is occurring at the time of the New Year, it’s a good time to make resolutions as there’s a higher probability that you’ll stick to it and make it work. Yet, as I have mentioned for all other signs, this new moon is a time to be slightly cautious. Why? Because the planetary alignment on January 1st, along with the new moon makes for a bit of a tense feel. Just as I have provided advice for all other signs in the month of January, I will make a mention of it here. If you have plans a few days before, during and a few days after new year, try your best to stay away from shady places or unknown places. Also avoid socializing with totally unknown people. Be in your own comfort zone a week before, after and during new years. Of course these energies also do hold positives. Motivation levels will be high this period, so this is a good time to focus and get things done. January 1st to the 5th could see some financial situations brew. Its best to stay away from indulging in heavy expenses this period. Also, avoid lending big amounts to people this period and you not receive it back or may receive it back at a much later date. By the 5th, the tense situations in the air calm off and you will automatically see the difference. If certain plans seemed stuck, they could start to pick up after the 5th. If travel plans, plans to launch a new venture, or any other personal plans had previously been on stand-still for whatever reason, you could receive unexpected help from someone of authority after the 5th. So, yes, this is a good time to make resolutions. Yet, I have to say that this new moon does bring some tense planetary alignments with it. This is happening for all twelve signs of course. For you this will be directed towards the area of your chart ruling work/service matters as well as your health. On the other hand, you could be asked to travel for work or other urgent purposes this period. There could also be an opportunity come up this period which could involve international travel.
