My name is Lily Evans. I go by quite a few things, but points for you if you come up with something that doesn’t have to do with my red hair or flowers. I’m in my sixth year at Hogwarts and a Prefect, but don't let that intimidate you. I'm really not that disagreeable.

I seem to have run out again - Yes, already. I know. I've got a nasty habit - and I don't really have the time to slink off to Honeydukes to grab any. I'm ordering more by owl, but takes forever and I'm down to my last one now.

Please. I'm afraid I won't be able to stay awake in class without them.

I had no idea how hard it was to make campaign buttons, even with a button press. I don't think I got more than an hour of sleep last night because of it. I really hope I don't pass out in the middle of this math test.

-rubs her eyes, feeling tears- I’m such a horrible person Lily. I left my best friends so I could be popular? What kind of person am I? But you know Lucas my brother right? He’s autistic and I’m doing this so the kids in the neighbourhood won’t bully him. I figured it would be easier if they left him alone because his sister is one of the popular ones. I’m so stupid. -looks down- Yeah, the adorable one. -smiles a little bit- I don’t know, I told him it was alright before he could say anything and left.

Oh Mary. -frowns deeply- That makes you the farthest thing from a horrible person. You were doing it for all the right reasons. Sure, it might not've been the best way to go about it but it shows just how much you care, just how big your heart is. And I promise you, very few of those popular friends you have are anywhere near that caring.

Well, I think you should give him a chance to answer. He might surprise you.

I think I don’t fancy the idea of giving speeches and meeting with teachers, but I do like to interact with fellow students and get their insight. I think president is definitely what they want me to go for, but I don’t know…I just can’t see it.

See, talking to teachers and writing speeches is something I'm actually good at. It's getting people to like me that I have a problem with. But I guess having your support will help with that. Did I thank you yet? Because I really wasn't expecting that at all.

Hey! You never have to eat your lunch alone in the toilet. Ever. There's always room at my table and if not, I'll eat in the bathroom with you. What did he say when you asked him out?

Not that much, no, and always apologized, so there aren't any hard feelings at all. -smiles wide- Oh? Do you not remember trying that while you were drunk at Black's party a few weeks ago? You missed my mouth entirely and licked my cheek instead.

A good day to start. I wanted to be vice president since I was a freshman. Lame huh?

Actually I convinced my friends to give you a boost, so no worries about that. Now we can actually focus on the real issues.

For instance, I think that if we have more fund-raising activities, it would greatly benefit the chance of team work and set a goal for independence.

-carries her books for her and tells her the rest of his ideas-

I don't think that's lame. It's quite ambitious, actually. Why vice president and not president, though? Not that I want you to change your mind. Just curious.

Really? Wow, that's... thank you! -grins- That's a great idea, actually. The school could use a lot of new things and fundraising would really help to supply those. Like maybe some new bathroom stalls with locks that actually work. Or food in the cafeteria that actually resembles something edible.

That’s sort of besides the point. I think being “well liked” helps but having good friends who are there to cheer you on helps too.

Got tackled during the practice. It’s no big deal. It happens all the time.

Well, I already have two people helping with my campaign... I really only made the decision today. I think I can manage it, once I get a good idea of where I'm really going with it.

Mhm. I know it won't get me the popular vote, but it doesn't hurt to try. Even if I don't get the position, it won't stop me. I'll go all the way to the top if I have to. People shouldn't be afraid to go to school.

Well, arrogant guys are the most annoying ones. I like confidence, but arrogance is just a no no. A little bit of everything is nice don’t you think? You’re so smart and pretty Lily. If I was a boy, I would fall for you.

You know how much I hate liars. I'm sure he doesn't think you're mean. He'll talk to you. I'm sure of it. Though, I'd be even more sure if you told me who it was so that I could play matchmaker.

Definitely. I hate overconfidence. It's one of the most unattractive attributes, aside from being a bully. And that feeling is completely mutual. You'd make such a hot guy. -laughs- Not that you don't make a hot girl already.

Oh? That's unfortunate. What did you do to it, if you don't mind me asking?

So far, mostly just a safer school environment where kids aren't afraid to show up in the mornings for fear of being tossed into a trash can... or worse. The rules regarding bullying here aren't strict enough and I'm hoping with a title backing me up, I'll be able to change that. It might not be a promise of off campus lunches or changing the school's policy on ordering pizza to the school for lunch, but I think it hits home for quite a few people. Plus, it matters. -shrugs-

-smiles weakly- You know, I wish there was a guy who would look at me for who I am, and not what I look like. Isn’t there a guy who looks at brains first? Well, it’s not that I don’t want to get to know him, I don’t think he likes me. He thinks I’m a bitch. -bites her bottom lip- I don’t blame him, I mean he’s smart and kind and funny. I’ll have to wait till the pigs can fly if he would ever like me. -blinks and then grins- Oh, go with the beautiful Lily Evans? How could I say no?

Well, if he thinks that then he's an idiot. You aren't a bitch. Pretty far from it, actually. And if he can't see that you're a catch than he doesn't deserve you either. You'll find someone eventually, I'm sure of it. Someone handsome and nice who likes you for both your looks and personality is going to sweep you off your feet one day. Mark my words.

No one I've met at this school so far, I can tell you that much. I don't know. It bounces back and forth from bookish to athletic, but I've never been one for shy guys. They're cute and all but... I guess confidence really wins me over. As long as it isn't sliding too much into the arrogant area.
