Datong Panda Power Plant, built in Datong (大同市) in Shanxi province, China, by Panda Green Energy Group. 

Part of China’s Belt and Road Initiative, in which China plans in investing in development of countries along the old Silk Road. The initiative includes plans for 100 solar farms to be built in the shape of pandas and other animals – which they hope will get more children interested in renewable energy!

Panda Green Energy are also planning to build another panda-shaped solar farm in Fiji.
