Okay, I have to send this and I hope this is also funny to you as it was to me. I don’t watch cm but I have loved reading your fics over the last few months, especially Behind the Mask.

I decided that I was going to watch the Doyle arc of the show and when I was perusing the Emily Prentiss cm wiki page to figure out which episodes to watch, I came across her intro storyline from S2: “In her first appearance, she recognizes Hotch from one of his first commands: security clearances for her mother, Elizabeth Prentiss, a U.S. diplomat. Her arrival surprises both Hotch and Gideon, as neither of them had signed off on the transfer. Prentiss insists her parents have not pulled strings for her.” // “Section Chief Erin Strauss reveals to Prentiss that she arranged for her to join the BAU, contrary to Prentiss's belief that she was accepted on her own merit.”

And I will have you know….I immediately, INSTINCTIVELY got so upset and was like wow. Wow!! that’s SO rich considering how poorly she treated us in behind the mask when A VERY SIMILAR THING HAPPENED to us when we got our little internship at the BAU!!! Like she KNOWS what it’s like to have people assume you don’t deserve your position and you only got it because of connections!! Then I had to take a breath and remember that your fic is not canon 😭😂 anyway. I hope you get a kick out of my momentary beef with fictional character Emily Prentiss/the cm writers 🙃

it's crazy how this blog turned into so much more in the span of 2 years. first it was just a silly little side project, because I wanted to start writing criminal minds fanfic after spending so much time writing for other fandoms and my own little stories. When I started this blog, I would have never imagined that my stories would be so loved x all of the support gives me hope that maybe I'll be able to publish my book one day.
