Wait is a Post-Rock influenced band from Bangor, ME. Wait features members of many projects in the Bangor area such as Pastime, Cupido, Bellyache, We Are The Vulture, Back 2 Reality, Night Life, Scavenger, Let It Go and many many more. Vicious Images 09/20/2015 @ The KAVE

Vicious Images is a Hardcore/Punk band from Southern Maine featuring members of Cruel Hand, Wake Up Call, Destructive New Age, Strung Along and many other projects based out of that area. They just released two songs that you can check out on their bandcamp. The Minor Threat and Wake Up Call covers were a blast. Hope to catch these dudes again in the future!

Free To Think representing THE BANGOR HARDCORE. Members of No Future and Friday Is Concord. They recently recorded the, “Youth Is Lost Demo” that will be out shortly. They also have a show coming up in Lewiston, ME with Back 2 Reality, L.F.O.D., Covered In Bees, Adonis Crew, and Cover One Eye on September 19th.

Bellyache 07/12/2015 @ Central Gallery

Bellyache is a Shoegaze band out of Bangor, Maine. Featuring members of many past projects ranging from Let It Go, Scavenger, Ghost Bite, We Are The Vulture, Outre, Flooding Panama, etc… These dudes always kill it, and Mathias Hillborn is one of my favorite people to watch play guitar. Don’t sleep on these guys. They currently have tapes out through Unwanted Art and will soon be releasing a split with Terrarium.

Buddusky 07/12/2015 @ Central Gallery

Buddusky is a two piece band from Mexico, Maine. I never had the chance to see or listen to these guys until tonight, but they definitely give a great live performance. They sort of caught me by surprise when I noticed that they only had two members a couple songs into their set. Their sound was full and groovy and had my head bobbing the whole time! I really hope to catch these dudes again!

Old etc. 06/03/2015 @ Coespace

Old etc. is a band from Biddeford, ME. Playing a sort of Indie Rock music that kept me intrigued for the entire set. I have never heard about this band until tonight, but I hope I can catch them again! It was also cool to see some members from the band Steiner Street in this band that used to play up here quite a bit. Definitely check them out!

they called me Legion is an Indie Rock band from the Bangor area. These guys have killed it every time I have seen them. This three piece always catches me bobbing my head and putting a smile on my face with those catchy riffs and elaborate drumming. Misfits fans always catch a surprise during their sets as well.  They are playing a show on June 12th at Central Gallery in Bangor, ME. Be sure to try to make it out!

HOLYFILTH 05/25/2015 @ PUNKFEST 7

Local Metal band out of Bangor, ME. HOLYFILTH melts your face every set. One of the best bands in Maine at the moment. They have recently put out a C.D. through Unwanted Art that you can currently order through Bull Moose locations. Aggressive Rhythm Records will also be putting out a cassette tape this summer featuring both EP’s,  "Rifftual Slaughter" and "March of the Wicked.”

We Are The Vulture (Reunion) 05/25/2015 @ PUNKFEST 7

We Are The Vulture played a surprise set at PUNKFEST this past weekend. This was one of the first bands I saw when I first started going to shows, so it was great to see them again. This melodic hardcore band brings so many different elements into their music that it is always awesome to see. Check out the members other projects Bruised Brain, Cupido, and Manic Abraxas.

Cupido 05/25/2015 @ PUNKFEST 7

Cupido is a newer band in the Bangor, ME scene. Featuring members of Manic Abraxas, Pastime, We Are The Vulture and Bruised Brain. This band gives a post rock feel with a screamo vibe that amazes me more and more with each time I see them. Don’t sleep on this band.
