Is this your content? No. Everything here is stuff we don't want to see disappear when Tiktok eventually goes away.
How do you upload your videos? I click on the 'share' icon in the tiktok video's UI, and if the download button is available, I save it to my phone and upload it directly to Tumblr. I simply don't upload videos that don't have the option enabled.
Are you okay with AI videos? No. We will try our best to avoid AI videos, but they're getting harder to spot so cannot promise there will never be any here. If you can offer some amount of proof that a video posted is AI, you can let us know and have it removed. Simply saying 'this is AI' or 'This seems too implausible' will not be enough to get a video removed.
Are you making money off of posting this content? No. Tumblr doesn't have any sort of Creator Fund that we're aware of and wouldn't apply if it was an option. Additionally, we try to source the videos, and we try only to post videos with usernames Tiktok generates on downloaded videos itself to serve as a watermark.
Can I send you asks and comments to try and reach a further audience when in need? No. I don't have the time to vet things, and spam and scam blogs do actual tangible harm. People soliciting funds will be blocked.
