Vivian remains unconscious in the ICU post heart surgery. The machines keep her alive and the nurses keep a close eye on her. Lexi enters for another vital check but the monitor begins to beep at a very fast pace. Toni and Kay are called in to prep the patient for a cardioversion. The machine is hooked up to her and the jolt runs through the heart. The outcome is unsuccessful and more cardioversions take place only to lead to another cardiac arrest. Vivian once again is under resus receiving CPR and defibrillators from the nurses that refuse to give up hope they can get her back again.

Contrast

Anna's stomach has been in pain for quite some time. She is in the hospital and in need of an upper GI and catscan of the abdomen. The nurse explains the whole process to her and puts her in twilight. But when the contrast for the scan enters the IV anna begins to seize up. Anna is in for an upper GI and a cat scan of her abdomen. The nurses do a full vital check and explain the procedure to her. A bite block is placed in her mouth to keep it open for the scope and the gas begins to hiss through the hoses. The mask is placed over her nose and mouth and she is instructed to breathe in and out. The eyes begin to flutter as she relaxes and the nurse counts it down. The gas does its job and Anna if fully prepped and ready for transport to the GI lab.
