This Sherlock is literally still friends with Moriarty after knowing he stole the formula for a gas that can nuke entire towns just cause he wants to earn from selling it. And this Moriarty's first thought when he stole it was that they can be successful from it together. All they need to do to make Moriarty not be completely evil and against sherlock is to make them make out. That's all.
