Feb 13: Parents meeting! -Remember to tell your parents to be on time, at 8:00. check our classroom at our website-. We also celebrate Saint Valentine’s Day on this day, so bring your hearted-shape cards for your valentine. :3

Feb 20: First Quiz -remember to study Simple Past Tense, vocabulary about Films & books, and how to write movie plots-.

Feb 27: Project (First stage: Presentation) 

Mar 5: Mid-term exam!! -Heads will roll! Lol. Totally kidding, it will be time for you guys to show how well you are doing it ;)-

Mar 12: Second Parents meeting.

Mar 19: Earthquake Drill :O Second Quiz.

Mar 26: Two words that make you happy: No class. xD

Apr 2: Speaking (Interaction and Production) part of the Final exam. Project (Stage 2)

Apr 9: Listening, Reading & Writing parts of the Final exam. Project Presentation (Final Stage) in front of parents and other students.

Homework Reminder

Hey guys! I hope you had an amazing week at school. Now that our class is coming, this Saturday, I want to remind you of your homework. Besides the exercises on the book’s pages, you have to write a small introduction of a character from your favorite TV show. Check an explanation below:

¡Hola, muchachos! Espero que hayan tenido una gran semana en la escuela. Ahora que nuestra clase se avecina, este sábado, quiero recordarles de su tarea. Además de los ejercicios en las páginas del libro, tienen que escribir una pequeña presentación de un personaje de su programa de t.v. favorito. A continuación el formato:

As you already know, I am Mr. Alfredo Nova, and I am your English teacher in this new class (Pre-teenagers 1), at the Language Institute.

I encourage you to ask as many questions as possible in the “Ask Mr. Nova / Pregúntale a Mr. Nova” link above. You can ask me if I am having a great day or when the next parents meeting is going to be. Your parents are also welcomed in, so invite them to check out blog once in a while. ;)

Como ya saben, me llamo Alfredo Nova y soy su profesor de inglés en este nueva experiencia (Pre-teenagers 1), en el Instituto de Lenguas, de la UIS.

Los invito a hacer tantas preguntas como sean posibles en el enlace “Ask Mr. Nova / Pregúntale a Mr. Nova”. Todas las preguntas son bienvenidas, incluso si quieren preguntarme cómo va mi día, o cuándo es la siguiente reunión de padres de familia. Los papás y las mamás son bienvenidos en nuestro blog, y también pueden participar con comentarios y preguntas o simplemente chequeándolo de vez en cuando.

Espero verlos pronto en nuestra siguiente clase, chicos, y espero que estén dividiéndose mucho. ;)
