“LEIGH-ANNE: I remember when we were at the judges house and that was incredible and then when we went to Perrie’s.. Somewhere and we just stayed there and we got to know each other. This was when we first got put together and we just had the most fun, we just— the naivety. JADE: Yeah, at Perrie’s house were we got to rehearse together, harmonise together.. I don’t know, we just clicked, we knew that there was something really special in us. We were all on the same page on what sort of girlband we wanted to be, we didn’t want to be too sexualised too soon, we wanted to write music that empowered like girls our age ‘cause it’s been a while since that happened. We knew exactly who we were and I feel like that really helped. Like, I think it helped us not being tooled on what to do, we were just – we did what we wanted.”
