sometimes when i think too hard, it feels like im going to be sick. when i see something that reminds me of you, imagine your smile too clearly, hear a song that you love... its like being torn in half. it hurts like a physical blow, knocks the air from my chest.

i know its not normal, i know its sick and unhealthy to feel like this for you, but i cant help it. im scared to let go of the feeling because i cant stand the idea that its all or nothing. without the suffocating weight of my obsession for you, what if im left with nothing but hollow apathy? it would be like losing you. if my feelings are the only thing i have, i cant bear to lose them.

ill keep fanning the flames, playing a dangerous cat and mouse with the fire, until im completely burned up. ill only let the fire go out once its destroyed me completely, and if im truly lucky, it never will.
