I finally realized after the countless nights of crying myself to sleep since 8th grade that something is wrong. depression? maybe. tonight was the last straw. I found myself crying yet again over nothing. I thought to myself.. this isn't normal. I need help. I ran into my parents room and told them straight up I need help. they had no idea I had been crying myself to sleep for years and faking a smile to everyone I know. it hurt them so much to know their baby wasn't as happy as they thought. and then I realized this is how so many suicides happen. you think you can't handle it anymore, that life isn't worth this much pain. but it's never too late to get help and that's exactly what I'm doing. I can't lose this battle.
