These works of art are connected in that they each represent the power, beauty, and individuality women possess through the expression of the vagina. Most of these works use a flower or other forms in nature to depict the vagina/ vulva, making the (what would appear to be “erotic” at first glance) female genitalia, a bit more innocent and subtly created. Each work of art stands for feminist empowerment; using the vagina as a symbol for the female gender—the only form that can reproduce and bring new life into this world. The works of art also spread the message that each woman is an individual and beautiful in her own way. All the sizes, shapes, and colors of vaginas represented in these works of art, show that no female body is alike, but that each are unique and priceless.
