In the flashbacks to the summer Ali goes missing two of the flashbacks we see have to do with Ali pressuring her friends to tell the truth about the lies around them.

First, Ali tried to pressure Spencer into telling the truth about Ian kissing her. Later, Ali admitted it was because she thought that Ian really liked her and that Melissa was just in the way.

So why did she pressure Aria to tell her mom about her dad’s infidelity? She knew that her mom was prone to affairs, her and Spencer shared the same brother. From a young age, her mother taught her to hide these things…so why force Aria’s father’s secret out?

Marlene posted on Twitter recently (shared in a prior post), that it looks like the Montgomery family has a new member. She then wrote the initials A.M and B.Y.

This brings me back to when Ali came to see Aria when she was being drugged by Meredith and says, “You know why I chose you, right?”

Something is up with the Montgomery family, and I’m curious if it has more to do with Byron than we know. Perhaps this wasn’t his first misstep?
