His eyes narrowed with her question, and for a moment he considered blowing out the light. Leaving her alone in the dark to find her way back. And without some type of guide that’d be easier said than done. But instead he closed his eyes and leaned his head back against the cold wall . “Well for one, I’m not human. And if you haven’t noticed it’s quiet down here. No sound in…no sound out.”

Pulling a light out of his pocket Alexander light the two large candles sitting next to him. “I figured, humans don’t tend to come this far out.” He didn’t bother moving as he fixed his gaze on the girl. The jump in her heart rate proved that she wasn’t exactly thrilled to see him either.

The light was nice, emitting throughout the room, a low loom. Lyra couldn't help but let out a low chuckle--she was going to pest, out of sheer curiosity. "Why are you here, then?" It was obvious, he wanted time to himself, but what's better than asking a deadbeat question to someone who terrifies you.
