I'm gonna try to start posting a detailing my progress for myself so I have a routine and guide to stick to so I can try to better myself one step at a time

I took the first step in starting up my cosplay patreon and ordered some stuff to get started, I've got everything I need for Jessica Rabbit, Daphne Blake, Kim Possible and Poison Ivy. I'm gonna try to throw together some photoshoots and maybe get a Polaroid camera soon too to start doing physical rewards. Worst case scenario I'll start a backlog now so I don't overwhelm myself in the future

Transition Fund.

Hi everyone, for those that don’t know me, I’m Rook and I’m trying to gather funds in preparation for top surgery. If everything goes well, I’ll be able to use my insurance but as my job is incredibly strenuous, I’ll be forced to lay out for at least an entire month so I want to prepare for that.

Upsetting Moment of the Week

Your friend knowing you want to get into prop and costume making and mindlessly taking credit and compliments for the props and costume design you made for her without once directing a single admirer to me or my social media, even going so far as to try to explain to someone how the prop was made in front of me when she had no idea how I did it or made any contribution to the process. Then tried to take the prop home without paying me a cent.

Oh and had the nerve to tell me she liked the design for our group, told me she had everything done and ready for the shoot I had arranged for us and then the day of the con came and she told me she left out a part of the outfit because she thought it would look tacky.

Like why not just tell me you didn't like my design element instead of very specifically telling you liked that specific part of it to my face when I pitched it???

Trying to decide on some other costumes to throw together for momocon, I kinda want to do a Sailor Moon one but I'm the only one going who likes it, a Pokemon might be fun but if my friend wants to do one too I know it's gonna stress me out because she is complicated, Elizabeth from 7ds is looking good because I might be able to get a group but I'll get my hopes up on this group and be pretty devastated if it doesn't pan out. San from Princess Mononoke might be a nice, easy solo costume though? Maybe I'll finally do Panty??

need to tweak a few things before she’ll be con ready in May!

Gonna add laces to the back of the bodysuit to avoid weird fabric gaping in the underboob region, change out boot laces for pink, add a blue front gem to the suit, remake the crown and restyle the wig!
