i think the current day actions of the gibson company is an affront to the modern musician and a waste of resources, nobody buys a guitar over 10k to play it, so whats the point of selling a guitar for 20-50 THOUSAND DOLLARS, a guitar is an instrument, a brush to a canvas what is the point of buying a brush to not paint, buying a piano to never play, buying a computer to never use, the point im trying to make is that the point of owning and collecting guitars, outside of the case of historical contexts (ex. paul allen and his collection of kurt cobains guitars), is to play them, by selling a brand new guitar for a price as high as 50 thousand dollars, and in such a limited quantity as 50 of them is desiging such an elegant tool just to sit on a shelf or on a wall mount for the rest of its life collecting dust, its extremely sad that a company tied with the invention of the modern solid body is creating such nonsense as MANUFACTURING DENTIST GUITARS
