chris was an idiot. most called him a loser. him and his friends were the type to run around some park at three in the morning just to yell and alarm the bitchy old lady in the neighborhood. that’s what they did. they were losers. chris was a loser.

you on the other hand, didn’t understand it. what was so fun about smoking and showing up to partys you weren’t even invited to? it sounded like a waste of time, really. you’d rather read romance books and listen to clairo all day, thinking about boys you could never really reach. you could easily agree with people who said he was an idiot, who didn’t seem to care about anyone around him.

that was until you properly met him.

it was at one of your friends parties, one that took her days to convince you to go to. and good thing you did, because ever since, you’ve been feeling absolutely crazy.

it started with his number, than hangouts, then a lot more. it was gross really, but, you were in love. but, what else did you expect? you always fell so easily.

and now, you were completely stuck. you were into a complete loser who probably only thought of you as just some lovey dovey girl.

you and chris were very different.

you’re still not sure what keeps you around an absolute loser like himself. sometimes you even sat for minutes on end wondering why, why you actually liked him so much. it made you laugh, honestly — you liked reading, and chris liked to run around the park at three in the morning with his friends, smoking and laughing about thinks that weren’t funny. he was nothing like you, and you were nothing like him.

at first, hearing about him, you really didn’t understand it. what was so fun about getting high and showing up to partys you weren’t even invited to? it sounded like a big waste of time, really. you’d rather read romance books and listen to music all day, relating songs to boys you could never really reach.

you could easily see why people called him a loser, who didn’t care about anyone around him.

that was up until you properly met him, though. it started with talking at parties your friends dragged you to, then hangouts, hanging out with him and his brothers. sometimes even one on one. he could easily call you one of his closest friends. you wanted more than that. it was gross really, but you liked him.

because now you know he likes real things, things you like. things like movies, and animals. little things that only make you adore him more.

this has happened before. you meet a guy, fall for him in every way, and lose him. one way or another. but chris was different. you honestly thought your time would’ve been up ages ago. but no, he actually enjoyed your company. he didn’t mind that sometimes you were stubborn or dramatic, or that you liked re-reading books instead of going out.

you always fell so easily. you didnt just enjoy his company, you craved it, constantly. you were falling hard. falling hard for a complete loser, who probably only thought of you as just some lovey dovey girl.
