Over boiling would spoil the soup. The literal Korean translation basically suggests that she don’t want her feelings to be “overcooked”, off flavours and spoiled to the point of no return. This actually portrays more of her raw emotions of stopping herself from getting hurt too deeply. A thick milky Seollongtang is good simmered over hours (the good growing love), but when it’s boiled over 48hours, you can only imagine it being burnt at the bottom of the cauldron, no more nutrients left, and bad aftertaste. Today for #maskmonday I would like to talk about the Tony Moly masks. Korean sheet masks are my favourite honestly. So when I tried one of these two years ago, I was hooked to them. They have a quite a bit of variety of masks like for radiance, skin purifying, for elasticity and my favorite, pore care and more. They have more than enough serum which always makes me happy and this mask doesn’t dry out soon, you can keep for good 30 minutes, which is amazing. I have seen some changes after using them quite often, so I can say they do work. I recently watched a video called The Quiet Power of Introverts by BBC ideas, I didn’t expect much from the video but I felt better after watching, they explain why introverts and extroverts are different. Like it was pointed out in the video, I need to take some time alone after socialising, because I’m talkative, I can’t stay silent nor can I talk in a group of people, so I struggle and feel drained after socialising, I always thought that was out of the norm. I think I’m an ambivert leaning towards introvert side more. I really like bookstagram, bookish community, it’s really easy to communicate here and know that you’re going to be understood. I guess a lot was on my mind since this morning haha.
