"Be quiet." Locked in a dire situation, his chosen method of requesting silence takes the form of a direct command, lobbed from ground level to the massive alien towering overhead without a hint of fear or hesitation to be heard. In the short amount of time he's spent with the Seeker, to describe them as a robot seemed to be too small a term to use, but aside from a provided moniker, it's the best word he's got right now.

"You know, for a robot, you possess a nauseating sense of self-importance." Tempting as it was to start pointing fingers, assign blame for how the offworlder had honed such a quirk, more important matters took precedence as Miguel's gaze jumped from one projected screen to another, gleaming new information as he went along.

"No one's going to become past-tense on my watch. I won't allow it." Stalwart in his conviction, the futuristic Spider fully intended to adhere to his word. All that they needed to accomplish first was tracking down the location of the massive anomality that had caused LYLA to scream like never before in his ears, underscoring the grave significance of this particular find.

"Now, stop feeling sorry for yourself and give me a hand here, will you?"

Stascream's face plate shifts into a snarl, though he keeps his temper in check. as ambassador of Cybertron on Earth, he'd learned to deal with overconfident humans before. they thought they could yell and threaten to their heart's content, try to make him squirm. unfortunately for Miguel, the seeker was not and would not stop talking, purely out of spite.

" It's not 'self-importance', Miguel. " he hisses, wings rattling behind him in irritation, "I see your data, and I have my own sensors. The signal is familiar... it's Cybertronian. " he admits, leaning down to take a knee, " Cybertronians are my people, I can try to reason with them, keep it from ending in a battle that could decimate this city. "

optics narrow, " No one is going offline, don't be so dramatic. " he starts, though the other's words did end up pressing on a nerve. was it really so hard to believe that he was telling the truth? Most Cybertronians didn't much care for the humans on this planet, let alone what they had to say.

a harsh exvent has his frame rattling, internal fans kicking on to keep his circuitry from overheating in his frustration, " I am not! I'm offering help, but I'm the only one that can do it. Or would you rather try and fight someone like me who has no regard for human lives? "

The Seeker's optics focus on the human speaking to him, vaguely surprised at the casual manner the other was addressing him. not many humans tended to see a Cybertronian like himself and not freak out, but maybe this man had seen his people before. Starscream let a long sigh escape his vents, helm tilting to the side,

" Fortunately for you, human, I've already broken my deal with the 'devil'. " he says, servo going to rest on pronounced hip joint, " You're a bit late to the party, it seems. "
