the yuheng elder had been busied with the arm of a recent night guardian , brush poised in mouth , when he heard the commotion outside his door . of course , there had been a sense of concern in the back of his mind . typically , it would be several years until disciples were able to travel the common villages and perform exorcisms without the help of their respective shizuns or shixiongs, but exceptions were made for luo binghe , who was far older than the general disciple that would enter sisheng peak's ranks , and showed incredible aptitude for it the couple of times he went with chu wanning .

you need to treat chu wanning gently after sex , i fear . . . it is so easy for him to descend into shame / self - loathing for how he acted , for showing his desires , etc . . . i think one of the most harrowing parts of his time with taxian - jun was not the sex , for which he did experience desire ( and i can write a whole post about this too ) but the way that taxian - jun's state of mind did not allow him to indulge chu wanning post - sex / provide aftercare in the way that mo ran does . post - canon , chu wanning and mo ran will brush each others' hair , and spend a long time holding each other . chu wanning also greatly enjoys when mo ran brings him some sweets to bed , though he always resists being pampered .
