Hi, I’m a journalism student at Kent State University. Everyone here hates Kaitlin with a passion. She gives our university such a bad name. We do not claim her. She is the biggest coward I have ever encountered. I saw her on campus recently and I went up to her to ask her a question (because I am a journalist and that’s what I do) and she could SEE the hatred in my eyes. I know this because she backed away in fear. She was like, “sorry I don’t do that” and I was like, “Just one question” and she was literally backing away from me in fear like, “no, i’m sorry” And let me just tell you, I have neverrrrr felt more powerful. For people wondering why she was ejected from a “public” Bernie rally:

1. It wasn’t actually a public event, it was a members-only event for the American Federation of Teachers in Lordstown, OH

2. She was sitting in the press section without a press pass

3. It’s obvious she went in, knowing she would be ejected, with the intention of filming her removal and framing it as a breech of her rights.

4. I mean fuck even if that weren’t the case she’s been known to threaten people who disagree with her by asserting that she carries. I wouldn’t be shocked if people would alert security after seeing her to report her assault weapon flaunting ass as a safety concern.

5. She keeps going on about how dare they call the event private because Bernie is a socialist that “doesn’t even believe in private property” affirming she intended to also use this as an opportunity to spread inaccurate defenitions of democratic socialism and cry “hypocrisy” where there is none.

6. Seriously, fuck her. She is an evil person.

Nathan flinched back, then scowled, swatting the toy away. “NOT. FUNNY.”

Nathan quickly used his hand to bat it across the room. “Harmless ‘r not, IT AIN’T FUNNY, YA DICK.”

Normally Justin wouldn’t be so mean, but hey. It’s an enemy scout he’s dealing with so he found it hilarious. He picked up the snake and put it around his own shoulders before walking around as if a woman in a fashion show.

“Check it out. If ya weren’t such a chicken, ya could wear it like a boa.” Justin’s smile couldn’t get any bigger. “A boa. Get it? Ahahaha!”

Nathan’s scowl deepened, hand twitching with the urge to snatch up his bat. “I’m in stitches…” he replied sardonically. “An’ I ain’t no chicken…” If the Engineer only knew about what happened, but he wasn’t about to share that with the enemy.

“Psst. Scout. Whad’ya call a snake who’s good at math?” He was still teeheeing uncontrollably from the last joke.

“An adder! Ahahah!” He had to lift his goggles and wipe a tear from his eye.

“I’m not ‘scared of snakes ‘less they’re poisonous. This’n is made-a rubber.” He started walking closer and closer to the scout with the snake held towards him.

Nathan took a step back, having little flashbacks to the origin of his fear. “I don’t frickin’ /care/!” he exclaimed, voice cracking and heart beating irregularly from the flashbacks caused by the toy. He wasn’t even scared of the toy, but it was making him relive that terrifying moment. His breathing quickened as he backed up against the wall, turning his head and squeezing his eyes shut.

“Oh, dang. You really really don’t like snakes.” Justin stopped in his tracks and put the snake back into his pocket. Normally it was fun to pull the legs of enemy scouts, but now he just felt like a huge asshole.

Justin made sure the snake was out of sight before approaching the scout again and sitting crosslegged on the floor next to him. What would make this better? What do scouts tend to like?

“Hey, little guy.” he says to a dude who is probably taller than him. “Want me ta build ya a dispenser?”

A dispenser? A dispenser? Did this guy really think a dispenser was gonna fix how he was feeling right then? He glared at the man, but then averted his eyes, trying to calm his racing heart and stomp out the fear he had been reliving. "No, I don't want a damned dispenser..." His voice revealed that he still felt upset, despite how he tried to hide it. He slowly slid down the wall to sit, rubbing his face and slowing his breathing. He had to calm himself down.

So, I’m in an emergency situation. I need every bit of help I can get. On Christmas Eve, my alternator went out. This prompted a huge fight in my family, for no real reason, other than I had an anxiety attack. And in order to stop said anxiety attack, I had my head slammed into the window of my mother’s car. So I would ‘Shut the hell up.’ The fight eventually seemed to settle but not before members of my family were involved that shouldn’t have been. We leave, go see my father, get home, the fight continues. I’m then told I have no way to work from here on. To ‘figure it out’. Even though she told everyone in my family business that they didn’t need to know. Stretched the truth. Burned bridges. I have no way to fix my car. Yesterday, I’m told I’m being put out onto the streets. Also told to ‘figure it out’. And she knows she’s destroyed countless relationships for me with my family. So I’m being thrown out. With no car, soon no job, and nowhere to go. I’ve been told basically that she doesn’t care what happens to me and that she’s sick and tired of me. And the area I’m being thrown out into is a hub for trafficking. I’m absolutely terrified and confused. How could a mother put her child out like this with absolutely no concern? That’s the question I’ve consistently asked with no response. Last night, she strands both me and my brother in our home. No car. No food. Nothing. Took our other brother, and her dog, and left. My brother and I are currently starving and scared. And, God forbid, something happens, I can’t get us anywhere to get help. My mental health has deteriorated to the point where I could care less about whether I live or die and I’ve had upwards of twenty panic attacks in the course of four days. I’m losing track of time. I have no idea what I’m going to do from this point,… I opened a ko-fi page in hopes I can receive some sort of help until I can find a place to go or even just to get my car fixed. Nathan practically beams. “I think it’s someone lookin’ ta get tickled!” He whirls around, beginning his assault on Shawn’s sides, laughing evilly. “I missed you, man! Where ya been??”

Shawn’s laughter filled the air as Nathan tickled his sides. He squirmed and tried to get away from those fingers attacking his body. After a few seasons, his hands shot down and grabbed Nathan’s wrists.

“I…” He said, gasping for air as he pulled Nathan’s hands away. “Whew! I missed you too! And I’ve been around. What about you?”

Nathan's cheeks tinged pink as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Heh...I know...but...it's nice to hear it." He pulled her in for a warm hug, nuzzling into her neck, his feathered wings fluffing at the contact.
