Red Skull, Master of HYDRA, was a nice challenge with the various non-metallic metals and objects source lighting.

“Cut off one head, and two more will take its place.” Hydra troopers are ready to take the field. There were an experience in painting yellows and greens.

Archangel soars into battle with neurotoxin-coated fléchettes erupting from his wings. More nonmetallic metals with this model. Calling him done though I cannot say I am happy with him. Might return to him in the future.

Black Widow, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., is ready to bring the sting to HYDRA. A fun dynamic model tp paint.

Lady Mastermind, Regan Wyngarde, has the same powers of mental illusion as her father, but a less problematic history as him.

Sometimes it’s nice to paint a “palette cleanser.” Something with low expectations that lets you play. Often times, that’s how I approach terrain.

A small break from all these villains to paint Hawkeye. Kind of wish AMG had done an alternate head of this model with a mask. This model is a very modern take.

Doc Ock, Sinister Scientist. I challenged myself by trying a different variation of the yellow and green outfit. Yeah, the traditional colors are still there, but I hope in a way people are not used to seeing.

Electro is another adversary from Spider-man’s. Challenged myself in how to paint different yellows and the effectiveness of dark-lining features.

The red leather and the yellow quilted texture was a blast to paint on Shocker.

Vulture swooped on and off my table. Lots@of fun both with the green and the brickwork.

Sandman is a far reaching foe, and things get carried along for the ride. More fun sand painting.

I have a fun time painting the sand for the Sandman. The only challenge is I found it blended with the skin near the end. No wonder the sand on the studio paint job was so dark.

Exodus from X-Men comics. I had not idea who he was until I started reading the Krakoa run.

A fun scene I assembled with my Mark IV Sentinels rampaging with Cyclops and Wolverine in the foreground. For the sky, I used a board I had painted up for Dungeons & Dragons seascape miniature scenes.
