i truly believe that jacks fell in love first. it probably started the night he almost turned vampire, and it continued on tbona. he probably didnโt realize it, but he was jealous and protective of her the whole time, and eva even says he fought for her like his life depended on it.
jacks also spends weeks looking for a cure for evangelineโs curse, gets irritated when evangeline tells her that she went to apolloโs brother and ended up hurt, and is delighted when he finds her literally hugging his shirt and asks if she missed him.ย he tells lala itโs not a big deal, but then is hugging and petting evangeline because sheโs sad. i donโt need to talk about tbonaโs ending because there it was more than obvious that he likes her, and even evangeline knows that and says โi doubt he doesnโt feel the same as meโ after she says she loves him lol
