Idk. People like talk as if feminism isn't needed but could never live the life of an aboriginal women. I know many woman who are literally stuck being fully dependent on their partners income (and they use it against the woman) just like its the 1950's.

People look at me for being weird because I avoid all relationships but my mother got pregnant at 15. My youngest sister at 17. Many cousins fall down the same path.

My oldest sister has 6 kids my brother 7.

Like, idk. It was a privilege for me to choose something else. I'll never get married or have kids. This is something I get to choose.

And all this in a so called first world australia.

Thats not even getting into the serious racism that dictate having your kids taken off you for minor reasons or outright lies by non Indigenous people.

Thats not even talking about accessible abortion.

That's not even talking about domestic violence.

That's not even talking about homelessness or safe spaces on teenagers on the streets or women in education or mental health issues or disabilities or business discrimination.

Like idk if you're shaking your head at america going 'no way that could never happen here.' It does happen here. You're just in a space of privilege where you don't experience it.
