ą¼ Iām fairly open with pronoun headcanons for characters! However I have two no budge areas! Mizuki from PJSK I refuse to use any masculine pronouns for. If youād like they/them Iām alright with that, however I do prefer she/her. And Yumeno (Q) from BSD I refuse to use any gender confirming pronouns for. They are canonically non binary and will be treated as such! Iām comfortable using neopronouns or it/itās if youād like that, though Iām most comfortable with they/them!
ą¼ I also refuse to write for Mori from BSD and Vespera, Lady Gisela, and the Song parents from KOTLC since associating them with age regression makes me uncomfortable. And I refuse to write for Elise from BSD since she is not a real person, sheās just an ability. Otherwise Iām all good!

Hehe you did perfect donāt worry! Personally. I am not the best at making characters happy. I quite enjoy them when theyāre miserable in fact. HOWEVER. I can manage with explaining some of the best ways to soothe him!

Ö“ ą£Ŗš¤ First up to set a base of sorts, his age range! Akutagawa is justttt an itty bitty baby regressor! Heās in the 1-3 range, very rarely able to do things himself. So! Perfect for this request! He relies on others for a lot of his comfort! Much like an actual baby would. In general i think he gets overwhelmed thinking to much, he rarely has time to spare to think about how to calm himself down. So even if heās capable of carrying out a potential solution, he wouldnāt even really consider it
Ö“ ą£Ŗš¤ One of the big consistent things that I think upsets little Akutagawa is his health. He knows heās going to die to it, eventually. While heās big it doesnāt bother him too much, he uses it as a motivator of sorts. But while heās small? Imagine telling a baby that their coughing is a sign theyāll die. Heās a mess. Something as simple as helping him take his medicine can help! Reminding him to take it, helping him with it, giving him a treat afterwards to wash away any yucky tastes. Thereās all sorts of ways to help! Just not doing it on his own makes him feel a bit better
Ö“ ą£Ŗš¤ I think Akutagawa is very particular with textures! This is mainly seen with clothes. His normal every day clothes are really not comfortable. Theyāre itchy and they feel to tight and that alone is enough to work him up into a fit. So getting him in some softer clothes is a huge help! It wonāt fix any issue of course, but it makes his mind feel calmer. Less buzzy in the bad way. He stops having negative emotions as his first response
Ö“ ą£Ŗš¤ Blankets! I just think heād really like blankets. Kinda relates to the last point I guess? Cause itās about soft fabric textures, but clothes and buskers are really different! I donāt think heād like anything bright, heās willing to have colored blankets but they need to be more dulled colors. Honestly heād prefer just a blank blanket. Designs are tolerable? But heās not a huge fan of them. He just wants a plain color blanket thatās all
Ö“ ą£Ŗš¤ A warm bottle of milk! I think that milk would really help when his throats hurting, all sore from his coughing. Tea works too! But milk helps him feel smaller. Mixing honey in does wonders, this applies to both milk and tea. He prefers milk over solid food most of the time, so itās good to find alternatives for proper food! Applesauce is a huge one, mashed potatoes, pudding. Heās just a baby, he needs baby food! But not literal baby food. That. Usually does not taste good
Ö“ ą£Ŗš¤ Idk why but I feel like lullabies would really help calm him downā¦ I wanna say Gin would sing him lullabies while they were in the slums and now it just soothes him but. Literally have no canon to back this up. At all. Just trust me ok? Gin has such a pretty voice and I think sheād sound so sweet singing lullabies! Especially while she was just a kid herself. Did she sound good? Not overly. She was a kid. With no proper practice. But Akutagawa liked it, I feel like he doesnāt have specific memories of her singing to him but the feeling lingers. Faint melodies running through his mind
Ö“ ą£Ŗš¤ Another kinda random one? But having someone playing with his hair and gently rubbing his scalp. It just feels nice and relaxing. I donāt think he lets people close enough for that very often. He has a strong aversion to affection, but when he does allow it itās honestly really nice. Only issue with this one is. Again. He usually wonāt allow it- Especially if heās already upset, heāll push anyone away who gets to close, he can still use Rashomon while tiny!
Ö“ ą£Ŗš¤ Praise! Honestly shocked I made it this far without mentioning this. Praise is little Akutagawaās #1 favorite thing ever. It just makes him feel so warm and fuzzy, feeling proud of himself and content. Praise means more coming from someone he looks up to, which doesnāt apply to all caregivers keep in mind! But even if he doesnāt look up to someone praise is still a nice thing. Itās just on a much smaller scale if that makes sense
Ö“ ą£Ŗš¤ I feel like Akutagawa would like being in the dark. Like even if he isnāt sleeping I just feel like heād feel more secure in the darkness. This. Is so backwards to how most kids feel but I donāt care. Heās alright with alternate lighting, like light from a screen or maybe from another room over, but he prefers the main room heās in to be dark. Heād definitely appreciate hanging darker curtains up to block a majority of light. He likes letting his eyes adapt to the darkness, a caregiver stumbling in the dark will make him smile, but he holds back any laughter, smiles are rare enough for him

Lalalalala Sophia! The toddler ever! I think she has. Separate age ranges. Hear me out. When she regresses voluntarily itās to like a 6-8 age range. Sheās a big kid! She can function! However when she involuntarily regresses? More likeeeee 1-3. Just a baby! I think she has many issues with. Yuuta. While regressed. This leads to her slipping involuntarily around him A LOT. On one hand! Yuuta feels safe, sheās known him for so long, he shaped her as a person so much. Of course sheāll love being around him! Butā¦ It also hurts being around him. Because she canāt have him. A lot of the time sheāll work herself up to tears leaving a confused and panicky Yuuta desperately trying to contact Nibutani (The most trustworthy as a caregiver). I also think Rikka triggers her involuntary regression! For. Some of the same upsetting reasons. But also! Rikkaās fun to play with! Even when theyāre not regressed at all it still feels silly and fun and oh look at that two toddlers. Someone watch them hey-

I think he has a wide age range, like 2-10? Because yes sometimes heās just a little baby being needy and getting tired easily. But also sometimes he can be a really bratty kiddo. And I mean really bratty. This kids the biggest brat ever omg. He NEEDS rules. He will fight them vehemently, no matter his headspace, he needs a caregiver that tells not asks him what he needs. He can cry on demand, more so utilizes that in his older headspace. A lot of the time when he starts feeling fuzzy heāll lock himself in his room and convince himself that everyone hates him but the second anyone goes in to check on him heās the clingiest little boy ever and will not leave them alone and he expects all the attention ever ok? Ok

Peak situation to regress in, he was getting tortured? I see him as like uh. 3-6 regressor? I feel like he regresses a fair amount and just. Doesnāt tell anyone. Just keeps acting normal. Again heās constantly in a onesie, thatās either a trigger thatāll get him feeling small a lot, or heās just. Prepared for it to happen whenever. Ooo little Iida! Love that guy. I love littles that need structure. I think heād be like 5-7? He definitely likes playing a big brother role to any other regressor around him. He very eagerly sets up rules with his caregiver, and he will follow them 150%. He feels so lost without them. Troublesome playmates or babysitters can try talking him into breaking his usual rules and heāll just frown and shake his head āNuh uh. Canāt!ā But as soon as heās asked why, they wonāt tattle on him! Heās just like āUhhā¦ Causeā¦ Cause iās badā no sense of logic, that boys running on pure morality and itās getting him everywhere in life. Also I think he deserves to sit down and snuggle up a lot when heās tiny. I feel like his legs are generally in a lot of pain thanks to his quirk. I think he deserves to sit down with a heating pad or an ice pack and just have a movie day

RIKKA. Dare I say sheās a permaregressor? My girl hit like 13 and just stopped. But she does still regress younger! I think sheāll drop down to a 2-8 range? Lots of variety. Because sometimes sheās just tiny and wants cuddles, and other times sheās running around with Dekomori causing chaos for everyone around them. I think her Chunibyo is a really integral part of her regression too! All her regression gear is magical, yes she will prove it to you in a fight, do not test her! Also sheās the most unreasonable about bedtime ever Iām telling you. Wdym she has to take her colored contact out before sleep? You dare disturb the eye of the wicked lord? Yuuta can try acting sad about his role being taken, and it does work! But most of the time he feels exasperated first. And that shows first. Which only makes Rikka even MORE stubborn. She wants Chimera in her room at night and will cry if the kitty is not with her. If she goes missing at any point? Follow the meows, youāll likely find Rikka either with Chimera or with some of the kittens

Baby Marcille! I think her age range would be like 3-6? Very toddler age range. Sheās spoiled rotten let me tell you. She literally gets whatever she wants. Everyone struggles to say no to her. Obviously though thereās some things that canāt go her way. #1 thing? Food. She doesnāt want to eat the monsters! Theyāre gross and it might not be safe! Itās honestly impressive how quickly she works herself up to tears. Senshi is about the only one able to help her, Laios just kinda feels bad and tries to soothe her, and Chilchuck gets l kind of exasperated, making Marcille cry harder. Izutsumi isnāt trusted as a caregiver but is on Marcilleās side 100% and Falin. Well Marcilleās not gonna be mad at herā¦ Just generally disappointed and sheāll seek out someone she doesnāt feel bad being mad at. Senshi just stays calm and unfazed no matter how much she cries, reminding her that this is all they have and that he knows what heās doing

Hehe of course! Todoroki is the itty bittiest ever. Like 0-2 age range. He doesnāt talk at all while regressed! I think heās more than happy to try other communication methods but he kinda just. Doesnāt process them, so itās not really going anywhere. Soo many sensory issues with this boy. He needs soft clothes and blankets. Nothing itchy, sequins are pile his worst nightmare. Also he doesnāt really know how to play? Heāll just kinda. Stare at toys. Even with guidance it just feels strange to him
Shigaraki howeverā¦ Very opposite. In like every way possible. Like I said before heās a permaregressor! Stuck right around 12. Itās just. Idk so many of his behaviors in canon make sense for this. Heās literally called a man child so much in season one. Heās still old enough to function fine on his own, it mostly just gives him an attitude. He hates others taking care of him just because they care, so heāll order them around instead. Kurogiri can already be making him food and Shigaraki just bursts in like āYOU. I. Am hungry.
