“I doubt your mother hired me thinking I’d be her future son-in-law,” he said, his voice low. The thought of explaining this to Eve sent a mix of amusement and dread through him. How exactly did one tell a client that their daughter was your soulmate from a past life?

“You should have wings. You always have them” she was so full of conviction it could fool anyone into believing she truly had all the answers to the confusing flashes on her mind “Why are you on my head?” If he was interrogating her then he must have answers and she was demanding them
